After escorting a Rhino transport from Pennsylvania, I arrived in New York to calls for help from Detective Toronto. My comms went static as I approached the scene. 2 Falcata bombers, 1 Outcast, 1 Hacker, and a gunship, presumably Hacker as well. I engaged with my Patriot, drawing fire and attention, especially with generous application of Wasp CDs and countermeasure flares to hinder the enemy and confuse their deployed ordinance. I remained engaged with the Hacker Falcata longest. It opened fire on me repeatedly, but was unsuccessful in dealing critical damage to my hull. The gunship disappeared from sensors. I didn't see why. The Outcast was destroyed. I pressed my aggressive assaults on the Hacker until enough MKII craft were engaged with it that I could withdraw without leaving our side without proper covering fire. The intruders were destroyed, and their light escorts arrested. More details to be found in the reports of the other officers.
Personal Note: The Patriot LF held up better than expected. Cruise Disruptor and Countermeasure deployment proved effective in hindering opposing forces that far outclassed my ship, allowing more opportunities for key attack craft to damage enemies. Pilots so outmatched should remember these strategies for assisting superiors in the field.
