Right. We had one helluva situation today. Hostage situation. Deputy Chief Karl Agathon, Sergeant Aiden Maggard, and LSF Officer, and 3 or 4 Navy capital ships were present at the location. We had them surrounded. They had maybe, I dunno, 70 hostages. Over a third of them were either Liberty Navy or LPI Officers, as well as a few bounty hunters and rogues (don't know if that even classifies as a hostage). The negotiations were long, and in my opinion, both sides were unfair. They asked for all the capital ships to leave, the LN ships didn't leave. Instead, they said they would get out of weapons range, if half the prisoners were released. The terrorists refused. And then there were some freelancers, one of them had enough firepower to take on the hostage holder. The terrorists asked him to leave, but the freelancer didn't, and when we ordered him to leave, he didn't either. This freelancer kept on trying to provoke the terrorist into killing the hostages. In the end the LN Capital ships did leave to west point, but the freelancer stayed.
And then one of the terrorists attacked us, and, literally, all hell broke loose. In the middle of the dogfight, Deputy Chief Agathon's fighter got shot down, but I heard he got picked up later by someone else after the fight. Hope he's allright. I managed to rescue about 5 of the hostages. Since there was a sirius-wide meteor shower incoming, I decided to evacuate those hostages to Manhattan, and landed myself there, just in time.
