Report No.: No idea, I lost track...
Well, that's not all that's going to be in this report. I have submitted a report to the Chief and Deputy Chief's requesting the reinstatement of the Criminal Investigation's department, which would be staffed by Detectives.
I am aware that earlier the detective's department was closed down since there was no real use for them and it was useless overspending of funds. However, I request the reinstatement for the following reason:
1. Many new independent criminal organizations have recently spawned, notably [Cartel] and Legacy.
2. By reinstating the detectives, we would not focus on repelling pirate attacks, but rather tracking down the source of these attacks.
3. The main orders and objectives of the detectives would be to hunt down their leaders such as Don Buccaleto, or FIND[u] out their leaders, since we currently do not know who leads some groups such as Legacy.
4. Since most of these leaders are hiding in the badlands or other debris fields, the Detectives would be given permission to go ahead to the badlands or other debris fields in order to hunt these criminal leaders down.
5. Since they will be operating in the badlands and debris fields, they will be required to be heavily armed and flying ships such as Eagle's or other powerful VHF's to hunt these criminals down. In some cases, they may even need bombers.
6. Unlike SWAT, not everyone will be applicable for detectives, only the Chief will appoint detectives since they will most likely be operating on their own most of the time.
I hope you consider this, since it most definately will decrease crime in Liberty (hopefully).
Ok, that's all.

I will forward this proposition on to the LPI command and see what transpires.
