Led by Deputy Chief Karl Agathon, LPI-Silver-3 and I began our patrol at West Point. We didn't have to go to far to encounter our first perp. They seemed to be coming to us all day. In this instance, a Mercenary with ship transponder call_sign_REAPER approached within close proximity of West Point. The sound of the base's guns echoed in my ears as they fired upon the hostile. They actually scored a couple hits and took down his shields. Kudos to the gunners of West Point. Anyways, we approached call_sign-REAPER, demanded he release the 37 Liberty lawfuls and 17 Bounty Hunters in his hold. WITHOUT notice, he proceeded to fire on LPI-Silver-3. We all engaged the merc and took some pretty good chunks out of his shield and hull. Unfortunately, upon realizing he was no match for us, he made a beeline into the badlands and we gave off pursuit. At least his ship was in no shape to harass any other lawfuls.
After giving up pursuit of this coward of a Merc, we proceeded back to Manhattan where we encountered an Outcast Tridente Gunship, transponder Zhou_Zhi_He. This individual's comms must have been deactivated, because he refused to stop when ordered. We tracked him down in short order, demanding that he give himself up to authorities. He let his guns do the talking. He shot at Deputy Karl Agathon, almost taking him out. We engaged the gunship immediately with necessary force. I made sure his shields were out at all times, while LPI-Silver-3 and Deputy Agathon pummeled him with Magmas and Snacs. With some teamwork and crack shooting, we took down this thorn in Liberty's side.
After that little bit of excitement, we headed back to West Point to regroup. Upon arriving, we caught a strange sight. A Blood Dragon. Can you believe it? Well, if not, I got pics. His ship transponder was Kauboi. Anyways, Deputy Agathon ordered his immediate departure from the system. At first, it didn't seem like he was going to give us any trouble. He seemed compliant. However, that all changed in a hurry. He proceeded to move in and attack just about everyone in the area, including a couple of Lt's in Gunboats. Bad mistake. He was dispatched with relative ease without nary a bot or bat being used. Nice.
After all this, we made our way back to Manhattan, only to face the daunting task of having to battle The.Joker, Vive.le.Presidente and Kaze.Dragon. C'mon. We had about enough crime in NY as it was. However, despite our exhaustion, and after some heated words, we engaged them right outside Manhattan. Unfortunately, their piloting skills, as well as their ships, were far superior to my own. My ship was destroyed by The.Joker only seconds into the battle. Fortunately, I was tractored to safety and delivered to Manhattan Medical Center with only minor injuries. Deputy Chief Karl Agathon fought bravely before docking to safety and LPI-Silver-3 (I shall not give away his identity) did some real damage to Kaze.Dragon and Vive.le.Presidente. BRAVO!!!
Well, doctors say I can go home tomorrow. So, till then, Lieutenant Seymore Justice signing out.
