Late 815 AS, two months later. Location: Lisbon Station, Omicron-100.
The testing went on for months. Mira could no longer keep track of time between the blackouts; the scientists subjected her to nomad specimens daily along with all the needles, weapons fire, and 'physical inspections' the perverted researchers carried out in the name of 'science'. They had taken away her clothes, made her live in a clear-walled room, and only fed her enough to keep her alive - it was like being a slave.
The lights flipped on in the lab, causing Mira to snap out of her brooding and take a defensive stance against the wall as a team of scientists came in, Lucius leading them. One of them was pushing a cart full of needles and razors, probably to cut her open again for 'research'. Lucius stepped up to the door and swiped his identification card, stepping through and grabbing Mira by the arm to pull her out into the lab, groping her as he pushed her towards the table.
"Get your hands off of me pig!" She yelled, clawing at him in an attempt to get away.
"I dont have the patience for your fighting today, Mira. Get on the table, now!" Lucius demanded, slapping her across the face.
The other scientists simply stood there, oggling over her naked body in amusement. Bastards, she was probably the only woman they'd ever see without clothes.
Mira reluctantly sat on the lab table, keeping her guard up. Lucius picked up a syringe from the cart; it was filled with the same yellow substance they had injected her with so many times to knock her unconcious. As he approached her, ready to stick the needle in her arm, Mira lashed out - kicking him in the jaw. He fell to the ground with a heavy thud, unconcious and dripping blood from his mouth. The other scientists grabbed her, holding her down while an assistant checked on Lucius.
"He's... dead..." He said, looking up at Mira, "...you killed him."
Mira stopped struggling, aghast at what she had done. "I... I didnt mean to... I just dont want anymore tests! Please, no more tests." She broke out in tears.
The assistant motioned for the others to hold her down as he picked up the syringe to put Mira out. She struggled with all her strength, but the meager diet they had kept her on didnt give her the energy to fight off three men intent on restraining her.
Just as the needle touched her skin, Mira relaxed and tried to draw upon the internal power that had saved her so many times before. She could feel it there, dormant, lying in wait to be released, like a River held back by a dam on the brink of collapse. She let it out, unleashing a telekinetic wave from her body that threw all four of the men crashing into the walls. The lights in the lab exploded, plunging the room once more into darkness.
