I am flying an Enterprise liner. I suspect it has something to do with the size of my ship. Every time I undock from a planet I get a "Danger" warning, but this is the first time I have exploded...
You might want to type /stuck, this will make your ship ''spirit'' like for secound or two. this might help you get out of planet
As I know it should be like that - u docked on planet. press Enter and type /stuck and undock from planet without pressing enter. Once you will see that your ship inspace - press Enter immideatly or you ship will explode again.
If that doesnt help after two-three times - get admin to move your char out of planet.
Certain planets will result in explosion every time, though not many of them.
Most will say "danger" but you should refrain from using the /stuck command as this will only move you up and not out. Perhaps we should make a list of which planets explode which ships.
Examples:
Planet Marne - Champagne = explosion in Aquilon or bigger.
Planet Honshu - Honshu = "Danger" but you fly right through the mooring fixture just fine.
Planet Malta - Omicron Alpha = no warnings, no problems
Luxury/Enterprise Liners don't tend to like undocking from planets, which is just lovely for all the Passenger sell-points on planets. OS&C| love that especially...
Anyway, another way to help is by mashing F2 as soon as you hit the undock button. Whenever you're coming out of a mooring fixture, this will let you control the ship immediately instead of going through the undocking cutscene. Combined with strafing and /stuck spamming, you should be able to get out fairly unharmed.

When 4.86 first hit you couldn't undock from Alpha either but they moved the mooring point/docking ring further out from the planet to make undocking a smoother experience. They should do that to all planets.
