Starting over -Any Tips or Hints?

Hi everyone

I was just wondering of anyone had any tips on starting over, or some ways to make the grind faster and, more fun. I was active on the Disco RP 24/7 server a lot from 2010 - mid 2012, until i had a change of hardware and had to start over. I am familiar with most features of the mod and have been playing freelancer for a decade now, however i still lack a certain edge in dog-fighting and jousting! I digress, I am looking for something so i can get on my feet quickly and having fun! Cheers!

To make the grind more fun, join a trading faction such as Platinum| (shameless self advertisement), DSE), or IC|

If you wish to get better at dog fighting, looking at the PvP guide here can teach you some stuff.

yeah if you want cash dollars im sure most trade factions will let you get right in to max transports or join their ore-gies etc, the one I'm in will anyhow, and has a lot of rly handsome dudes in
