New affiliation : GRN... still 75% power reducement due to incompatble tech ??

Hello chaps,

I did a GALLIA restart, bought myself a "Perilous" Gallic Royal Navy Gunboat, then equipped it with standard basic turrets, one standard missile turret and 2 cerberus turrets. The GB comes with a forward gun also...

At this time I was having the 75% power core cutback, so I figured I would do some missions and that would solve the problem. At some point I got the GRN affiliation (GRN full green and flashing) , but still I got the 75% power core cutback ?!

Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong ?

Maybe you can't use sirian weaponry. Try it with gallic gunboat turrets.

Or, it could be the VERY stupid mistake (everyone did it at the start, me included ) of forgetting to change your ID; check if you still have the FL ID, and if yes, change it to a GRN ID.

Hullo Kenobi,

You need to have a Royal Navy or Police ID to completely eliminate the tech nerf on house military technology. While you can fly the ship on a Freelancer ID it will, unfortunately, have to be with a reduced power core.

Take a look at the tech compatibility chart, here. It should be able to help out with most of your tech-related issues.

Yes the powercore problem is Because the iD

Put a GRN or GRP ID and you should be fine
