The time is unknown.
Omicron Lost was dark. There was no noise, all was silent. It's single planet, Moros hung in space like an isolated plum. It's three suns were dimming, the light in them was slowly fading as if they had died inside.
The small exploration ship drifted through Lost. Perhaps it was lost itself? That is irrelevant. Who pilots the ship? That is also irrelevant. What is relevant is that this was a ship that was in the right place, at the right time and was the right person.
The small exploration ship slowly drifted towards a spherical orb that was motionless before it. The orb was black, with pulsating and glowing lines of blue light all over it moving in a rhythmical fashion. The exploration ship turned and faced the orb directly, it sent out a some sort of communicative sound.
The Orb responded to this: it began to speak. A soft, ethereal yet young voice was heard. ::Greetings, Child:: ::You have ventured to the edge of Sirius itself in order to discover, no?::
The orbs lines then changed from blue, to purple. ::Or perhaps, to escape? To find refuge? Maybe even to learn...?::
The orbs lines changed back to blue. ::What ever your reason, I have answers:: ::You know who I am already, else you would have not come here::
The orbs lines changed to a crimson red. ::I am annoyed if you do not know who I am. That deeply saddens me, child::
The orb reverted back to blue. ::I contain all the data, information and possibilities there could ever be, or that there ever was:: ::I am the alpha and the omega, yet I am no god, child:: ::I am Zyreyeph, the Omicronicon. But you already knew that, didn't you?::
::But enough about me, how about you, child?::
The exploration ship remained silent. No answer came to Zyreyephs question.
Zyreyeph let out an eerie, yet calming laugh. ::I know who you are already, it is within my memory. Now then, what would you like me to tell you?::

::It may perplex you as to how these tales came to be. Are they from a time that has already passed... or a time that is yet to be?::
::Are they from another sector, universe or dimension entirely? That is up to your perception, child::
::Once you have learned with your new knowledge, go out into the realm. Lead your people into a new age::

"The Hunters came and descended onto their prey with no warning".
Rookie order agent Alistair Zael looked from Battleship Thebes windows onto the system beyond. Mu was on fire.
Order ships were desperately battling Core ships, in a struggle to quell the surprise attack the Hunters had launched on the Order itself. There was an awe of skyfire, as both sides were shooting at each other. Clearly though, the Core had the advantage. "How the bloody hell did they get this far into key order space!? Mu of all places... christ" Barked Taweret, commander of the Battleship Thebes. "Status report!". "U-u-u-um... It appears that the Core finally harnessed the awesome power of advanced Nomad Technology...Sir" Alistair said, as he was reading off the papers strewn on the floor during the madness. Just as he leant down to pick up a datapad, he looked out the bridge window. To his horror, a blue energy beam easily sliced through three Osiris class battelships. As their burning wreckage hung floating in space odd looking, heaviliy modified Mako's tore through them. These Mako's were certainly different to the ones Alistair had seen in training videos: They were slightly larger than their previous variants, they front 'head' of the ship was bigger and more streamlined, with a large forward gun on it's back. "Dammit, someone patch me to Golanski!" Taweret shouted to his crew. "Negative captain, our communications are down. It seems the Core is jamming them somehow" An order agent shouted back.
The ship began to tremor. "Sir, it appears we're being fired at" Alistair said, trembling with worry. "Thanks for stating the bloody obvious rookie" Taweret remarked. "Attention all crew, you are all ordered to use the escape pods and evacuated the ship". "But sir" said an Order Agent "We haven't been given an order by Gol--" "If you'd have noticed, we can't communicate to him. And we're not going to sit here and get annihilated by the Core" Taweret interuppted. "Divert primary power to engines. We'll try and get some distance away from them before we let the pods loose".
But this was not enough.
Death's blow soon came to Thebes. The blue energy beam that had fallen many capitals before it, had finally come for Thebes. Escape pods did leave the ship behind, but many were picked off by Core ships. There would be no prisoners. There would be no mercy. Thebes exploded, leaving behind disintegrated metal hanging in space.
