Section 1: The Order Questions
I have some questions relating to The Order ZoI, Engagement allowances and the 'Operations' Order| carries out in house space.
Quote:Pilot carrying this ID is enlisted in the Order who:
-Can demand Artifacts, Nomad equipment and remains, levy fines, and destroy ships if they refuse to comply with demands within the Omicrons, Omegas, Alaska and Tohoku.
-Can hunt pirates and terrorists within the Omicrons and Omegas.
-May not bring a vessel cruiser sized or larger into any system containing a jumpgate with exception of Alaska.
-Can freely engage Nomad, Wild and BHG Core players.
-Cannot participate in unlawful actions except as described above.
Quote:-Can hunt pirates and terrorists within the Omicrons and Omegas.
I'm slightly confused with this, as it explains what can be hunted and where, however it does not specify where these can be hunted:
Quote:-Can freely engage Nomad, Wild and BHG Core players.
Does this mean that no matter where these three types of players are, you can go and hunt them down and kill them? Or is it restricted to just the Omegas and Omicrons?
On that note, I have seen Order| leave the Omicrons and hunt K'Hara that have not been within the Omegas and Omicrons, so does that mean that you can hunt Nomad, Wild and Core players anywhere, or is that restricted to just Order|?
On that note also, I have seen Order| in places such as NY where they have scraps with the local =LSF= and [LN] forces (And BHG?). This isn't present on the ID, so does that mean either: 1. you have to be engaged by said locals, 2. you can go and hunt down the local lawfuls, 3. Only Order| is allowed to be engaged by the local lawfuls. 4. Order can go and hunt the local lawfuls.
If someone could clear this up for me, that'd be great.
Section 2: BHG COre Questions
Quote:Pilot carrying this ID is a member of the BHG Core who:
-Can demand contraband, levy fines, and destroy ships if they refuse to comply with contraband demands, refuse to cooperate or are affiliated with a house at war with BHG Core in the Omicrons.
-Can hunt pirates and terrorists within the Omicrons and Omegas.
-Can freely engage Order and Nomad players.
-Can demand nomad biologics.
-Cannot participate in unlawful actions except as described above.
-May not enter any system containing a jumpgate while flying a cruiser or larger.
Quote:-Can hunt pirates and terrorists within the Omicrons and Omegas.
Yet again, I am confused as this doesn't make sense with:
Quote:-Can freely engage Order and Nomad players.
Like I asked before, does this mean that the Core can hunt Order and Nomad players anywhere, or is it restricted to the Omicrons and Omegas?
...I have a small, kinda dumb question too. Can the Core sign up for BBs? :3
On that note, can BHG players freely hunt Nomads and possibly Order? Or do they have to be bountied on the bounty board?
Section 3: AI Questions
I have some minor questions related to the AI ID.
Quote:Vessels carrying this ID are controlled by an artificial intelligence, who :
-Cannot engage in piracy.
-Can actively hunt pirates and terrorists in systems that do not contain a jumpgate but cannot do so in systems that do contain a jumpgate.
-May not fly any ships with more than 4,200 cargo space.
Quote:-Can actively hunt pirates and terrorists in systems that do not contain a jumpgate but cannot do so in systems that do contain a jumpgate.
Actually, this first question I have for all IDs that have a "Hunt pirates and terrorists" line: Does terrorists include say, Unlawful Freelancers that do dirty work for unlawful Bounty Boards?
Next question. Picture this scenario: You're hunting someone such as the above mentioned and they end up jumping into a system that contains a jump gate. Do you give up chase or can you pursue?
...Another small question, any chance an AI ID'd ship could sign up for a bounty board? I understand that you couldn't shoot stuff in systems containing jumpgates but I'm more thinking of something where you can hunt in systems that don't contain jumpgates. Giving you extra for killing something, like when someone with a Pirate ID signs up for a BB.
That's all my questions. Help is greatly appreciated!
-Can hunt pirates and terrorists within the Omicrons and Omegas.
I'm slightly confused with this, as it explains what can be hunted and where, however it does not specify where these can be hunted:
--------- yes it does..omicrons+omegas
-Can freely engage Order and Nomad players.
still within the zone of influence it just states that you don't have to make a demand, just like all other IDs that has same line but other enemy factions
------ -Can actively hunt pirates and terrorists in systems that do not contain a jumpgate but cannot do so in systems that do contain a jumpgate. terrorist does not mean in any situation Freelancers/Mercenary ,but only the Terrorist ID
----- Next question. Picture this scenario: You're hunting someone such as the above mentioned and they end up jumping into a system that contains a jump gate. Do you give up chase or can you pursue? *you are programed to not attack hostiles in systems without a gate
--- Another small question, any chance an AI ID'd ship could sign up for a bounty board? I understand that you couldn't shoot stuff in systems containing jumpgates but I'm more thinking of something where you can hunt in systems that don't contain jumpgates. Giving you extra for killing something, like when someone with a Pirate ID signs up for a BB.
i think it happened/read before and was a little problem with so called "police ai"
People want to believe that God has a plan for them.
They don't wanna believe that anyone else does..
The Order and Core can shoot any pirate/terrorist in their main ZoI: the Omegas and Omicrons.
They can hunt each other and alien players anywhere on the map, as long as they don't bring caps to systems they are not allowed to. I do think the "freely engage" means without engagement message as well as "anywhere" but most still drop one anyway.
The Order also has exceptions for "Sigma-19, Sigma-17 and Nomad systems" as well as Alaska.
From what I know, they can't just engage LSF/LN (in 4.86) in Alaska or anywhere else - current ID seems to be self-defence only there unless they are carrying Nomad stuff. Golly has confirmed this in his confusion, although the 4.87 ID (by AD) will allow them to hunt all house intelligence factions.
Order| have no extra things to do since they use the Order ID like everyone else.
The regular BHG ID can hunt anyone as long as there is a lawful person paying them to do so (after they satisfy the rep requirements), but they cannot hunt anyone (except in self-defence) outside of that. Conversely, the BHG Core ID allows them to engage pirates in the Omegas/Omicrons, Order anywhere and Nomads anywhere, but they cannot hunt someone just for the sake of a bounty.
Any ID can be signed up to a bounty board as long as the ship has neutral rep with their employers and hostile to their targets (or taking an individual bounty). They can only actually hunt targets that their ID allows which would only be the above mentioned ones for Core, but anyone on the board for FLs, Reavers and regular BHG.
As long as the engagement starts in your ZoI, you can continue that engagement to systems outside your ZoI. However, I am not sure about chasing with caps as Order/Core, nor with restricted movement IDs like Coalition, RoS and Privateer.
Your example with the Pirate ID works, as would be the case for AIs - against unlawfuls and outside gated systems only.
