Ok, there's a player right now on server called HooD. He has 970 million money, played for 27 minutes and already owns a Kusari destroyer. Any idea how could he get all this, while not having any other characters?
If anyone did help him to such extent, I guess we should know who it was. If not - that's most surely cheating and should be stopped.
Only one with that kind of money was Raven I think and he hasn't been active for a couple months... Defenately seems like cheating to me... And he stole Hoodlum's name...
If he's got that much he'd have got help from at least a dozen people, with all of them giving him several millions.
If he's cheating, which it looks like he is, then maybe we should just ban him until we find out for sure?
I haven't given money to any new players for months.
There is no trade route to get that much in 27 minutes. It takes at least 10 or 15 minutes to get to kusari, depending on how often pirates disrupt the lanes and attack you, so I can't see how he got that much so fast.
OK, I was on when he got kicked by the game (for cheating) several times. I wanted to contact him, but there came the auto-maintainance and the server didn't come back... I thought it was Hoodlum since he had that amount too on his trader (Fellow_Hoodlum)... so, if that's Hoodlum then it shouldn't be cheating
If the stars should appear one night in a thousand years, how would men believe and adore and preserve for many generations the remembrance of the city of God? - from 'Nightfall' by I. Early explorers discovered a jumphole within the depths of the cloud that leads to a strange world of ringed stars and strange craft. All ships in the burrial ground are placed facing that hole to honor the Alien Spirits. - An Outcast rumor

If igiss said this HooD has no other chars then he's used the IP address to look for other chars so it can't be hoodlum as hoodlum has a phantom char, a freelance char and a TG char and thats just the ones I know about.
I was on this morning and a new character Xenon jumped from level 5 to level 90. He then came in as HooD and [x]Nomad[x]. All level 88 or higher. Sounds like cheating to me...
Just banned him. Asked how he got so much money, he didn't answer. Well, told him I'm banning and addressed him to forums if he has any problems about that.
Hm.
At first I thought he could be a known player in a new account, but if he has no other chars / accounts with that IP, then he cheated or got help from many rich players.
Now, assuming (s)he cheated. How did (s)he manage to modify the amount of money in his char without access to the server?
