Just looking for a little advice on light fighters. Something I've never bothered with before. Specifically something suitable for a FL Id with no tech nerf problems.
Honestly, light fighters are a bit lacking at the moment. Unless your opponent loves to eat mines, they are likely to simply tank out any damage you can do.....with usually only four guns, that's not a lot.
They are mostly useful as interceptors due to higher cruise speed, and for harassing enemies in group fights while avoiding damage.
If you want a FL LF, you might want to try these:
Hayabusa: The smallest ship in the game. Impossible to hit, but has only three guns. You're not going to be doing a lot of damage. Also, it's house civilian, so it'll run at 90%. That doesn't matter, though, because with only three guns you'll never run out of energy.
Tiger Shark: Turns incredibly fast, and is still very small. One of the most agile ships, but it still has four guns. Also house civilian.
Surveyor: This one is actually more of a heavy fighter. It has five forward weapons and a torpedo slot; its size and agility are also closer to a HF. Think of it as a HF that sacrifices a bit of hull and damage output for 400 cruise speed.
