Inspired by Blodo's mention of some sort of death cash penalty I thought it'd give people another reason to trade, thus enhancing trader-pirate-bunter/navy activity circle, if /conn and /return commands costed some money. Not much, 2 M per use let's say. People would be forced to spend some time in an RP environment contributing to it and to the activity food chain before going to Conn.
Except usual "muh, Cannon would be needed to write that", what do you think?
Nah people would just have dedicated ships in Conn and log them, or adversely just stay there and never leave
EDIT: Also rather than hamper the fun of conn, we should learn from it and try to make other systems on the RP server as enjoyable an experience as conn.
I don't see how money should reduce the willingness of RP.
People RP because they consider it fun,
People who don't RP generally don't like like it,
If they are forced to RP, they will just go and do something else, away from discovery.
It's not like the server has been full over the last year, so I don't see how conn is an issue either.
If the server was full most time of the day, this might be an idea to reduce the amount of people in conn.
Again, owning a billion of credits shouldn't keep you from RPing.
Having barely nothing however would, so credits are really not the problem here.

I will just sit at a random base with a group of people like in vanilla to shoot.
Consider I do it for practice and I'll just RP it as being simulations, no one should care, even when this is in front of Manhattan :3
A nice idea, indeed, but as Anaximander already mentioned, people will just leave dedicated ship in Conn that they log in there without having to pay a fee for using the commands.
Right now, I`d rather say, that there should be a limited time for an account within Conn, but then again, I suppose this is really hard to implement.
