would anyone have objections to the Arwing light fighter being used by a hogosha character? Other than the civilian line of ships, there arent any vessels available to the hogosha but those of their allies. The corsairs and order are both listed as close allies, but I'd prefer not to use order ships in kusari space.
It looks like a fairly sleek ship that would suit a hogosha, I just cant find anything else that would be decent...
Since the Corsairs and Order are allies I dont really see any real concerns RP wise, Id just say to make sure the weapon loadout is suitable for a hogosha

Of course, I plan on using full hogosha plasma cannons for the loadout. The only problem is getting it... it's all the way down in omega 41, long trip for a new character.
Well you can always do a transfer in NY and get a CSV/collecter to get you down there, just as an inbetween ship. Ive done that before when I had to run a new Char up to Alpha.
Do not use it if you have any compassion for your foes. It is bugged to hell and back.
Guns are invisible and un-scannable, as are your shots, and there are no missile warnings. I don't even think mines appear, which is raw murder. Using the Eagle is probably best (I know its a VHF, but it turns faster than the Griffin)
A Wyrm isn't too much of a stretch, Samura makes them and the police are on good terms with Hogosha to a certain extent. If the KSP were around, that would be easier to negotiate under the table, but it should be fine.
hm... I may just go with that then. The wyrm is a good LF and hogosha are like the xenos of kusari - they would prefer to use their own nation's equipment than that of a foreign corporation or military, even those they're allied with.
Oh, one more thing... do the hogosha have a guard system?
another edit - i just looked at the wyrm's infocard in-game... it doesnt state anywhere that it's a police or naval fighter, it's just a 'kusari light fighter'. That makes it easier to work out as a black market purchase from samura...
I play my Hogosha as a former military, ultranationalist who runs his "company" as a trade and security firm.
Primarily running small trading operations and occasionally providing escort for Kusari vessels.
He also conducts, "cargo inspections" on non-Kusari ships and shakes down and chases off Junkers.
The final thing the main character does is fly as a "privateer" in the Bretonian conflict doubling up as a sort of "national guard reservist" assisting the police against foreign aggression.
Primarily the privateer raids Bretonian shipping near the Tau gate to Leeds and more often, patrols against Dragon, Chrysanthemum, Outcast and independent pirate activities as well as illegal smuggling by foreigners.
No reason you couldn't fly a wyrm as a sort of "local deputy" to the police.
It would be great if just like we have "Civillian" and "Borderworld" ships we had "Corsair" and "Outcasts" ships for sale and use by their allies only. These would not be the "top of the line combat ships" used by the big factions but the next tier down for use by their allies. Would solve a lot of faction's ship woes.

I think i'm going with the wyrm, just been playing around with it in open singleplayer.
Have to say... I love the hogosha guns. They're a bit tough to aim, but chain firing four drake C's/D's is like having a flamethrower on your ship
I do plan on portraying my hogosha as a 'people person' - doing a lot of public speeches and such to kusari citizens to rally them against foreigners. I really cant wait for the hogosha fighter that's being added (I think it's being added, anyways) in 4.85. The version I saw looked awesome, very lethal looking but also very kusari in design.
