I have recently returned from an extended meeting with Samura Nora-Sama where I have addressed his concerns over the changing climate of Kusari and Sirius as a whole.

This five day meeting has proved very productive and he has laid out the future direction our corporation is to undertake on behalf of the Samura Kuge.
I am always amazed at the insight this amazing man has and the thoughts he puts into the future of Kusari.

To move forward with his vision I am now requesting an assembly of the board to be undertaken on Shinjuku Station at the earliest possible convenience, this is now item one on our agenda.

Please respond with your acceptance of offer so we may begin the formal assembly.

Kazuya was waiting in the boardroom for the others to show up.
He had thought long and hard on what was to come and how Samura would weather the coming times.
The door hissed open and the other directors entered the room.

Konbanwa, good to see you.
Kazuya bowed to each as he addressed them by name.
Kaido-san, Ichiro-san, Hideo-san, please take a seat and we shall get started.
Unfortunately Marusa-san can not be with us today as he has other matters to attend to.
A profile of today’s meeting will be forwarded to him.

Now we shall conduct a regular meeting which shall be carried out with all the various CEOs of our subsidiaries present as usual.
At this point I shall cut the outside link and we shall begin the second phase of the meeting which is based on the wishes of Nora-sama.
I think you will see why it is that we will need to control the distribution of information to be most effective.
So shall we Begin.

With that Kazuya hit a button on the desk and a large number of holoscreens flickered to life with various faces on each one.
The all greeted the men in the room and proceeded to engage in small talk for a minute or two.

Ladies, Gentlemen, thank you for coming.
Samura Omotai Zaibatsu has enjoyed eight hundred years of prosperity and ranks as Sirius’ largest and most influential corporate holding.
Our corporate portfolio stretches from from the Tau systems all the way out to the Omicrons.
Samura vessels land at more ports than any of our competitors and we are involved with more industries by far than any other corporate interest.
We are the largest provider of employment and unlike the others believe that a man always has a basic right to employment no matter the situation.
Indeed entire planetary populations are involved in making sure Samura stays on top of our goals.

These are but part of the reason for our success, the ethos of our company has been handed down to us by Masamune-sama and we stick to his vision as we always have, a vision of a better world.
Our custodianship of this great corporation for the Samura family is a great honor and one we fulfill with the greatest vigor and all of our hearts.
A house can only stand on solid foundations and thankfully we have very solid foundations.
Our employees are among the lucky few that truly know that their careers are secure and no matter the economic climate, they shall be provided a secure place within our great family.

As you know, the political climate within Kusari has changed, while some may say for the better it is clear that this is not true.
Never the less Samura will continue to work within whatever governmental model we find ourselves in.
As always Samura works not for the government but for the people of Kusari and it’s future.

On a good note, the old government was a very costly endeavor to fund for Samura, and with this political change a vast amount of finance has been freed up for other purposes.
These funds have sat waiting for the right purpose and it has come to now to know what that may be.

Now I shall go around the table and see how each of our portfolios are doing in these recent times.
