Back in the vanilla campaign, when Trent goes to Rheinland, he links up with... Das Wilde agents? And they help him find Von Claussen?
I'm talking about those clowns with the artifact. Why did Das Wilde help an Order operative rescue another Order operative whose position they knew, instead of attacking them outright?
They wanst Wilde. Just two guys who connected to Rheinland security high. Double agents of local BDM perhaps.
If they'd was real wilde - they kill Trent on sight or lure him into a trap, not to Von Claussen.
Wait, were those two the same guys? I thought they were just random dudes, not the ones they met in the bar.

Probably will remain in secret because if it was revealed that humans can easily use active nomad artifacts, every character would now have their own artifact that would grant them abilities ranging from mind-reading to super-height jumps and nuke-blast foot stompings. (bandit)

Perhaps they WERE Das Wilde agents, and aided Trent to find Von Claussen because the Wild knew about their plans of entering that secret facility and blowing up there Marduks, and The Wild/Nomads were planning to trap them when they entered there and finish them off...
Makes some sense, seeing as how that one guy had to go blown himself up to get the job done and let Trent and the others escape.
Maybe, Just maybe, they were nomads that were somehow rebelling against the rest and attempting to aid humans? Genetic mutations that allow them to function separately from the hivemind?
