Game supports bots/bats trading, we all do it. Than we all get mad when trading bots/batts is not fair or inRP by our opinion. And opinions are so many and rather flexible.

I've heard we will have Repair turrets that will do negative damage. They will repair ships when shoot at. Shell we lock trading bots/batts than? Completely? Maybe only Repair ship should be able to trade bots/batts?

I would throw bot/bat sharing over board immediately.
However, as it seems to be a feature many like, at least the sharing between caps and snubs has to stop. It is stupid and makes many people unhappy.

The repairturrets we discovered on the Discovery of Discvery server work definitely, but I have no confirmation whether they are in the mod that we will be playing.

If they are in... I'd gladly ditch all the stupid sharing and replace it with these repairbeams.

If it's technically possible, yes please.

And get rid of the insane amount of bots/bats on the repair ship, of course.

I would be all for the repair lasers and dropping the number of batts and botts on repair ship (keep enough botts/batts for the repair ship itself), but, only on a repair ship as would seem out of place seeing them for example on a dreadnought with nothing but repair lasers etc and no repair ships in sight.

Repair lasers on repair ships only most certainly (I would happily buy one of these ships outfitted with those lasers), and if you are still having batt/bott trading then only between same class ships ie. caps to caps and snub to snub otherwise get rid of it.

What I personally hope for is the removal of all regen trading between ships, without exceptions. Bot trading is frustrating, grants an advantage to the side that already has numerical superiority, and on top of that the current repair ship mechanics are terribly silly.

They'd more interesting with repair turrets, and a little buff along with them - as without their insane amount of shield batteries, they are easy SNAC bait, and I assume they were balanced with that in mind.

One can dream.

I tried to find a way to do this, however at this time it is technically impossible unless some skilled coder comes forward and delivers us a plugin. I'd be first to shove it into the repository, since it creates many, many balance issues in group fights.

Well, I reckon getting rid of immortal repair ships would be a start at any rate.

If we could get rid of bot trading once and for all, repships would have their infinite bot supply replaced with a repair turret as they should have long ago.

I don't see why you need to remove bot trading before you can fix the repair ship. Even if there's no way of stopping bot trading, repair guns instead of masses of regens would be a step in the right direction.

Only reason is I would rather repship isn't made basically redundant when a battleship trading bots will be much better than a repair gun. That's why I'd rather wait.
