The group is all about unifying the colonies, is it?
Then why moving out of House space? The focus should be just that: House space, not scarcely colonized places. And the focus should be on political activism or something like this, not on hunting jellies or communists.
How about Gallia? Will it be considered a threat to sirian Houses? Or you will consider them equal and try to negotiate?
EDIT: I noticed just now that the topic has already been discussed. Sorry. I still think that a diplomatic approach would be worth a try. If it's goin to fail anyway, at least it won't be because you didn't try

Kampanom is correct. If you really want to do this right, you should avoid becoming another "Nomad hunting group". That's Order's job.
Engage in roleplay opportunities with major powers (houses, sovereign states/organizations), earn their trust, so that your organization becomes a recognized institution of sorts.
This sort of RP is delicate, and you must consider your actions and execute them with precision, otherwise you'll just be antagonized by the major powers.

Who do you plan to pew? Air? Space? Nothing? As a side mission we're fighting the nomads, maybe not as our primary objective, but still. "Side Mission" doesn't mean we're getting another "Nomad Hunting Group"
Everyone and their dogs shoot Nomads these days already - you wont find them satisfactionary to fill your blue message needs. You can apply that to any "closed ID" faction like SCRA for example which are the only ones you actually want to hunt.

Happens when people decide to make a faction all friendly with everyone else, with a noble goal of unifying everybody, or similar. If you want to be friends with humans, but you still want pew, who do you shoot? Of course Nomads.
hunting SCRA or the nommies will be deeply unsatisfying - there just arent enough of them to be targets.
unifying the houses is a pointless goal. A faction thrives on challenge - remove the challenge and you remove the raison d'etre - look at the mollies. back in 84, they were threatening to planet dive new london with nuclear materials unless certain of their numbers were released from prison, and now they've signed non-agression pacts, they've even less to do.
what im saying here, is that if you are successful, you kill your own faction.

That's the point bro, you seriously think uniting the Houses would be EVER possible? EVER? No, it's an on going goal, we will never succeed, so our faction will never die, simple as that. even IF, I say IF there would be the slightest possibility of uniting 4 of the houses, there are still Outcasts - Corsairs left. If they agree too, Gallia would be left, in my opinion Gallia will be the most difficult one to unite with the Alliance because of their hatred. But yea like I mentioned, no it wont happen, but the goal and the RP while trying it, is nice and on going, never dieing. never ending.
