Ever since Kusari broke through the Bretonian blockade at the Leeds gate two systems over, the traffic in Tau-23 had dwindled down. Although, I was still curious as to the dissappearances of my IMG friends. Everywhere I went for answers, I was met with a closed door, a vile threat, or no reply at all. What I had discovered is something not even the Outcasts would speak of, something in a nearby system that even they were frightened to speak of.
I had ruled out the possibility of an infection. After the Outcasts had captured me and released me, they took that box I had discovered in Ceti-15, a very large piece if evidence. If I could only get that back, I could know what happened in that system and what destroyed that huge station...and what the hell was wrong with that system? Gravational anomolies everywhere, scattered from the start of the system all the way around it...and invisible to see. It made it near impossible to nagivate the system. No doubt the Outcasts were watching the Jumphole into the system.
I pulled up a map of the system I had obtained on my brief adventure into the system. In almost half the system, there were spacial rifts, located all around. Potentially very dangerous and invisible to the naked eye. Scanners picked them up decently well however, at the very edge of the system, the scanners picked up a MASSIVE rift in space. Larger than the most, and sucking everything towards it at a quick pace.
A singularity.
It was little known information that there was a Black Hole located somewhere within Sirius, but now a second one had been located. Is this what the Outcasts were so despirately trying to cover up? Or was it something else...and what was with these energy signatures on the station? They wern't Nomad, and they certainly wern't of human orgin.
-Gravational Anomolies located in every part of the system. Invisible to the naked eye, but detectable on scanners to a point.
-A massive Singularity located on the very edge of the system, pulling everything towards it.
-A station with unknown weapon energy located on the hull.
The Outcasts wouldn't guard something like this. They would deem the system uninhabitable...but that raises another question. Why would there be a station there in the first place? If the owners of the station had seen the Singularity, or even detected it, why would they build a station there? The answer came in a milli-second of information from the scanners.
A ship. On long range scanners. Almost invisible to the human eye. It wasn't Nomad...
