This is Michael Edridge, current CEO of Ageira Technologies. I'd like to talk to you about a certain new miracle pharmaceutical.
Stabiline! A wonderful creation by Cryer. But it seems their transports have been slowed, if not entirely overwhelmed by the combined fury of the Outcasts, Rogues, and likely the Chrysanthemums too as they make the dangerous trek to Liberty.
And that's where Ageira comes in.
There's still a great need for our technology out in Kusari, and we just happen to pass by the source of Stabiline daily.
Our ships are both top of the line, and well escorted, easily capable of completing the trek to and from Liberty with no hassle at all. We here at Ageira Technologies would like to gain a license to transport Stabiline, as to help with the shift from Cardamine, to the more legal, less destructive alternative.
I hope to speak to you soon about how we can acquire said license
Firstly, let me apologise for the tardiness of this response. There has been much discussion within the government as to the specifics of allowing trusted and reliable companies - such as Ageira Technologies - to transport Stabiline within Liberty. As with any controlled substance, the proper checks and balances must be put in place to ensure the product remains untainted throughout transport and gets to the people who need it most.
The first step in achieving a secure supply line is the requirement for all transport companies to first be approved by the manufacturer - Cryer Pharmaceuticals. Secondly, once approved by Cryer, the company would be required to undergo a background check and pay for a Transport of Restricted Medical Materials (TRMM) license (payable to the Liberty Government). This license would be renewed monthly, at a cost of fifty million credits.
In the case of Ageira Technologies, it has already been decided that - due to your company's outstanding reputation and conduct within Liberty - your company has been approved to transport Stabiline. All that is required is the clearance from Cryer Pharmaceuticals and the licensing fee, payable to Ferris.Dufrense.
- William Hawthorne, Secretary of State for Trade and Economics.
Please, allow me to apologise for my impatience. It will be my undoing one of these days, I am certain.
Ageira accepts these terms, and we will contact Cryer immediately. We, or rather, I appreciate your trust, and I look forward to further and continued work together.
