And when I sat Atka I mean the Cryer research base. Now granted in the past this station was really only used for research on alien organisms and cardamine, it has kind of grown over the years... the commodities it sells kind of show this. The station is now apparently a drug manufacturing plant, a research station, and an operating location where human organs are harvested.
Now with the thriving market for synth weed and the introduction of stabiline, I would imagine it would not be unreasonable to have the DSE come in and add more modules to the tiny base to expand the manufacturing capability of the base and ensure enough stabiline is made to satisfy the demand for it in the houses as a legal alternative to cardamine. Perhaps additional cargo storage modules and cryostorage bays, additional crew quarters and maybe a solar array too would not be outside of reason.
Also, there is now an Outcast base in Sigma-13... realistically it is only 20-30K away from Atka because of jump hole placement. Now that is an Outcast base very close to a medical research station that regularly kidnaps Outcasts and has made a drug to topple their cardamine monopoly... Atka probably needs a defensive upgrade as well because they are a stone's throw away from the base and their home system is not much farther away either.
A similar argument could probably be made for Leduc, the Ageira base which makes their bioneural processors which happens to be not far from one of the Lane Hacker's most important bases. But I have not visited Leduc since the mod update, maybe it is bigger now, I dunno.

Leduc was expanded, courtesy of yours truly.
(Why on earth Airdrie is in the same nebula is unfathomable to me.)
Unless some Cryer| people contact me with specific ideas, I will be employing some artistic license on Atka Research Station to make it a bit bigger.
This particular "depot" archetype is very small relative to other base models, so there aren't a lot of options for extra modules which don't ridiculously dwarf the core of the base.
Aren't those the Gallic tanks? Or are they now used everywhere?
Besides that, I could imagine the station having an extension to one of the horizontal sides with 2 quarter-type parts in a row going away from the main part and tanks connected to them on the side.
Or ... after some thinking ... it would make even more sense, to have one pod to each side: one for the living quarters, the other for the laboratories, and tanks connected to the laboratory pod. Keeping in mind that the living area should probably be put a bit away from the laboratories... unless they all live on the "main part / docking part" anyway.

Those particular small tanks are actually vanilla Sirian design. There is a Gallic equivalent that looks very similar. (Protip: the connector design on Gallic base components is different too, so you can check for that as well.)
I did experiment with adding some other types of components to the base, but the depot's small size makes the proportions look a bit ridiculous. Of course, I could do something completely new by changing the core base archetype, but I'm reluctant to change it since that's the vanilla design, and a total overhaul would be unnecessarily expensive for Cryer inrp. Bear in mind that pharmaceutical production facilities IRL are often much smaller than chemical refineries or machine construction facilities.
Suggestion: Make it two rows of tanks, and replace some with the "windowed" variant: increased production also means the place will need more habitable space. Also, I'd like to see two lateral solar panels instead of just one under.
Edit: maybe add a mooring arm, like Porto Novo or Boa Vista (can't remember which one). Stabiline will mean a HUGE increase in hauling traffic, the station will need more mooring points.
