Sirs, Ma'ams.
[color=#CCCCCC]Hit the lanes last night. Pretty quiet, all considered.
I RV'd with Flt.Adm Hale and V.A Defmir in Colorado, and we intercepted two Hacker contacts near the New York gate. The first, Callsign: Nicole.Hunter ran to the lane as soon as we entered engagement range, so I'm guessing it's not a combat vessel. Could've been a Pirate Transport, but I didn't get close enough for electronic confirmation. It's not the first time I've seen that ship, either. ******* station in Virginia reported a similar contact a few days ago.
John.Heygood dropped out of the lane to buy Hunter time and was engaged by the Flt.Adm. V.A Defmir and I pursued the Hacker, but lost contact in Galileo. Flt.Adm Hale had the same problem with Heygood, thanks to a damn annoying ion storm. As you can see, he later resurfaced in the New York Badlands. Wasn't so lucky that time.
We then received word of a Rheinland Battleship in Texas. The Hostile opened up on civilian transport ships, a Spa and Cruise Yacht, in violation of every frakking rule of war. The Durango bought it down. Looks like it pulled in most of the pods from that liner and, judging by the ID's, a prison ship as well. The VE|AC-Liberalis dragged in the additional pods.
Following, we escorted the Flt.Adm to some sort of meeting on board the Missouri, and were joined by Lieutenant Cahoone. V.A Defmir headed off to talk some sense into a couple of trigger-happy Hunters in Manhattan Orbit. In the meantime, I intercepted an illegal transport in Fort Bush orbit, SW)The.Steelworker, who agreed to move off. Lt. Cahoone and I then headed off a Rogue bomber trying to put a hole in West Point. Lost some minor systems, a fighter in launch bay six'll be a write off, but no deaths. The bomber was a different story.
When the Flt.Adm had finished his meeting, we RV'd at Missouri and headed out torwards Texas. Hit an Outcast fighter on the way, my shield's failed and the V.A had to finish it off. I was heading back to Fort Bush, when scanners picked up a Hessian Battleship. Remained on station for pursuit and intercept, and I managed to hold it up in California. Had to break off when he started running into Solar orbit, the Executioner ain't that much of a brick. The rest of the Fleet managed to intercept it, though I had to return to Fort Bush to patch up the old bird. And get a rad-check.
