High Command,
another day on a patrol through Liberty was rather exciting yesterday. A violater of the law, Nikolai Diavolo, started to talk odd things via the system comms, trying to justify his position for whatever kind of reason. However, I tried to find him while he was talking and later on, with the help of Wilcott, we managed to locate him already. Wilcott was on his back, chasing the criminal, when we finally managed to catch him in Ontario by cutting off his way out. He didn't really intend to fight for his life, so we opened fire and forced him to dock on the Cochrane depot of the Lane Hackers after a few shots hit him.
Wilcott and I continued our patrol. The results of the patrol after this incident were rather sobering.
Later in the evening, I got a report from a cadet, who was saying, three Hellfire ships have been spotted near the California gate. So I went there to check if that was true. The California gate was clear but when I jumped through and wanted to take the lane to Mojave, I saw the three ships. One gunboat and two fightercraft. I called for support and not much time later I got a hand from the LNS-Victoria and a SWAT pilot of the LPI. Some time later they got support as well, so did we again and attacked the enemies after they opened fire. The LPI, the Victoria, Wilcott, Harper and me were in charge of the enemy gunboat. One of the HF fightercraft fell first, then the gunboat was dealt with. But as unexpected as it could be, the HF got more fightercraft over and over again, not intending to let us reduce their numbers. But against the odds, we managed to handle them with the help of Commodore Robinson even with low losses of our own forces. However, we got support from a Liberator pilot as well, that helped us to wipe out the last one of the Legion, together with Wilcott.
In the end everyone was alright and rather unharmed, physically, as for what I know. After that big battle I returned to West Point to take a rest after the Commodore gave me the permission.
