Greetings, sirs.
I regret that it has been so long since I have sent a report your way. However, I'm sure you understand how things get. Having returned from my unexpected leave of absence, I expect to be logging some more flight hours within the next few weeks.
I am happy to report that things seem to be flowing smoothly in my absence. Today, I logged on to be greeted by three LSF, one LPI, and two Southern Alliance officers.
Today was a rather productive day, as we engaged and destroyed four hostile contacts. Two in Texas, and two in New York. The first target destroyed was a Rouge tagged Gunship under the callsign of Jayde.Wolff, who was accompanied by another pirate named SeaFalcon. Both were destroyed near the tradelane between the New York Jump Gate and Planet Houston.
Next, I spotted a Lane Hacker Gunship in the Detroit Debris field leaving West Point under the name Marshall. His craft immediately fled upon our arrival, but we were able to CD him. As soon as his shield dropped, LPI Officer Matt O'Brian and I both released a Supernova Antimatter Torpedo. With no more than a split second between the two impacts, the gunboat immediately exploded.
Finally, on our return to West Point, we came across GH0ST, a pirate in a Slipstream. He was also dispatched.
I will say, I was most impressed with both of our recruits, Seth Karlo and Dave Elliston. Both recruits were quick to follow my orders, and as such, we were a successful task force.
I regret to inform you that the LNS-Oklahoma has not yet been refitted to a Cruiser Class vessel, however, construction is underway at the moment. I will keep you posted on her status.
