COMM ID:Admiral Alan Polstari (Ret.) TARGET ID:Liberty Navy Reporting Center SUBJECT:Re-retirement ENCRYPTION:Low PRIORITY:Low
Greetings.
With the understanding of Fleet Admiral Hirlerman and the High Command of the Liberty Navy 1st Fleet, I am announcing my retirement effective immediately. While I have enjoyed my time serving with the 1st Fleet once more, I find that I am no longer able to provide the leadership required of me as Admiral. I trust Fleet Admiral Hirlerman to find a qualified candidate from among High Command who will fulfill the duties I held responsibility for in short order.
I wish you all the best in the fight against the encroaching darkness that is Gallia. I trust the efforts of this fleet, combined with Liberty's fighting spirit, to carry the day and ensure that we are and ever shall be a free and prosperous House.

Morning, Command.
After careful consideration of my future in the Liberty Navy as a 1st Fleet member, I must now resign my commission from the Liberty Navy. The gunboat I have captained will be parked at West Point for reassignment elsewhere.
It was a pleasure working with each and every single one of you and I look forward to seeing you all again in the future, but I shall not be a member of the Naval forces. May you all have luck in protecting Liberty and all that she represents.
See you all in space,
Signing out,
Lieutenant John Hemmingway
Liberty Navy, First Fleet

Command,
This is Captain Langley, reporting a failed alien incursion.
At approximately 0300 hours, Manhattan central command detected a large target entering orbit of the planet. Upon arrival to Manhattan's Defense Grid, scanners picked up a solitary alien biosignature to the south. Inbound 5th Fleet battlecruiser Miasma moved in to assist, and the target was engaged and disabled, but not before it began a futile siege on the planetary docking ring. Target was neutralized with full force, with minimal damage to the Miasma and zero confirmed damage to the El Paso. Both ships returned to port.
For the Republic,
Holston Langley
Captain
Liberty Navy Primary Fleet

I'd like to inform command that I have returned to active duty status. Just landed back at the Naval Station on Manhattan after an emergency sortie. Signals intel detected a large formation of rogue and hacker units converging upon the New York system so we spent about an hour or so conducting reconnaissance throughout New York while the fleet assembled at Manhattan. Eventually, we detected them speed towards Manhattan and engaged and eliminated all hostiles.
***TACTICAL ANALYSIS***
Fortunately, we heavily outgunned hostile forces and their force composition was broken, relying on too many underclassed destroyers and only bringing 1 bomber. Furthermore, we had plenty of fighter escorts so the LSF ordered us to cover their snubcraft while they took out the destroyers before assisting us with the snubcraft. Their pilots were skilled but we had plenty of battleship cover to fall back on. Additionally, the battleships were specifically fitted to deal with snubcraft so the weapons choice was excellent for force application purposes. Finally, some of their snubcraft fled into the fields but we managed to gather a group of our own fighters and destroyers to finish them off. During this time the computers recorded that I made a kill but this was done with heavy assistance from all friendly units involved.

I don't know why technical didn't fix this sooner, it's been long enough. And if somebody could tell payroll to catch up, I'd appreciate it. Now, to the report.
Patrol today turned up a Zoner capital ship, the colony-carrying Nephilim-class, struggling to make it through Californian space. If somebody could also tell the diplomatic office that if they are aware of such matters, operational stuff will need be informed. Despite the lack of a plan, the appropriate pleasantries were exchanged, and the ship was escorted from Liberty through the nearest exit corridor... somewhat slowly. This was agreeable to the captain, who seemed somewhat casual.
Footage of the incident is attached. If this keeps up I'll have to request a diplomatic allowance.
Earlier today a police officer and a bounty hunter and I managed to track down a slave smuggler carrying a Samura ship and transponder. It did not cooperate, so the bounty hunter eliminated the ship and we rescued as many of the slaves as we could and returned them to the nearest station, Baltimore Shipyard.
After that a squadron of Legion Maltesa fighters, some Liberty Rogue fighters and an Outcast destroyer arrived at Manhattan and launched an assault in response to our destruction of their slave smuggling ship. During this engagement, we were outnumbered and outgunned, Long Island station's defences were not enough to defend this attack in front of Manhatta, but we did at least warn the civilians to dock at the nearest stations and they evacuated the area so nobody got hurt. As far as I can tell however, allied forces took some losses. Guncam footage is below.

COMM ID: Cpt. Daniel Redding TARGET ID:Liberty Navy Reporting Center SUBJECT:Criminal and terrorist activities at Texas ENCRYPTION:Medium PRIORITY:Medium
The LPI, BHG and Navy launched a joint operation codenamed "Operation: Lib Lib" in order to flush out some Liberty Rogues and Lane Hackers active in the system. Unfortunately, as Battlegroup Harmony reinforced the criminals in the area, we had not brought enough bombers or capital ships to capsize the hostile center of gravity. In short, with a bit more firepower, Operation Lib Lib would have been a success

Evening, Command.
After some time away and re-evaluating things, as well as noticing that experienced officers are needed for defending Liberty's interests, I formally request that I be reinstated into the 1st fleet, and I request my former rank of Lt, however it is up to command to grant that request. With permission, I would like to stay with my Avenger VHF. I look forward to the decision of command.
See you all in space,
Signing out,
Lieutenant John Hemmingway
