This is Ensign James Davis, reporting the actions that occured on the 3rd of April, 827 A.S., at 2130.
My shift started at 2125, and as soon as I docked out of Planet Manhattan, where I had docked my Havoc Mk II, Lt. Commander Sawyer called me on the emergency frequence.
Apparently a group of Separatists had entered New York system from the Texas Jump Gate, and I ought to join him to Norfolk for battle.
There we met with LXC-Powell and Marcus Carter, and other pilots I can't recall the name of, unfortunately.
We engaged the hostiles, against two gunboats, one very heavy fighter and a capital ship.
As we were on bombers, Lt. Commander Sawyer and myself focused the capital ship, but the two gunboats didn't want to give some slack to the LXC-Powell, so in order to protect what I think was our main asset to be victorious, we moved onto the gunboats. That seemed to be the best thing to do, as the Powell managed to hit the Harmony hard enough to take it down.
Then we moved on the next target: the gunboats. I personnally targeted the Defiant class gunboat, as the Lt. Commander Sawyer was already on the Archer class one, but was targeted by the Defiant.
It turned out well, as I, assisted by my brothers, got to take it down.
Lt. Commander Sawyer had to restock, so went back to Norfolk, and as his ship was getting prepared, he came back on the Monitor.
During this time we were still pursuing the Archer gunboat, who led us to the Badlands, probably in an attempt to take us all by surprise and fly away, but that was a big mistake.
We took him down as well.
When the fight was over, another call on the Emergency frequence reported Outcasts near Norfolk Shipyard/Texas Jump Gate trade lane.
Having used all my torpedoes in the fight, I had to restock aswell before going in again. However, there I met with a late Outcast. Unfortunately, my ship was already damaged from the fights, and not suitable against a fighter.
I tried to buy myself some time by counting on Battleship Missouri to protect me, but my ship was too damaged to get away from this by myself.
The hull of my ship breached, and I found myself into space. Right before my ship came in collision to me, a ship from the Missouri took me in and droped me in the Battleship, to await the end of the fight, and report this as soon as possible.
Again, I find myself awaiting for my ship, which will see much more battles and much more breaches, as I am determined to do what I do best: serve the Navy.
