-----ID: Sub. Lt. Mike Ypsilantis----
What a horrid day. My shift started out with a abrupt start. I was alerted of a order fleet in Alaska, so I quickly went to Norfolk and docked, switching to my bomber, which was stationed there. I then proceeded to Alaska when I saw the fleet. 2 Osiris's and one Corsair Cruiser. On our side was the Providence, a Dread, and Gafwmn, a Assual Cruiser. We waited in a standoff for more reinforcements to arrive, in the form of a LSF bomber, Liquid, and a trusty Bounty Hunter in a Battlecruiser, named Mere Mortal. After our reinforcements arrived, the Osiris's cloaked and fled the system, with the uncloakable cruiser following.
Then, arriving back in NY, things went sour. At WP there were four hostiles, 1 gunboat, one missileboat, a bomber, and a sabre. Mere mortal, a fellow LN officer, and myself engaged. The other LN officer, who's name I cannot quite recall at the moment, was destroyed first, and Mere Mortal soon fell from a GB and bomber assualt. The missile boat, quiet frankly, pulverized my bomber, stripping it off all of weapons, including my supernova, and soon I ejected from the burning ship.
After a relapse in the hospital, I launched and received a distress call from Fluid. I quickly made my way to his location, and found him engaged with 2 liberty rogues. One of them, a bomber, soon fell, but the other fled. I then headed back to the other half of the battle where a phantom was engaged with 2 fighters. We engaged the phantom for a while, until a comrade arrived, and we began a steady retreat towards the Mississippi. One of our gunboats, Bean, was destroyed, and soon, there was a standoff. The 2 phantoms were reinforced with a third phantom, but they were hesitant to attack with the Mississippi guarding us. After a while, they turned and fled, and we received another distress call from NY.
We quickly headed to the Cali JG, where we saw the missile boat from this morning, as well as 2 fighters. Soon, both fell from our assualt. Finally things were at peace. Or so it seemed. 3 more phantoms appeared in NY, and I decided another assualt would be costly to us. So I decided to call in our fleet, comprised of a battleship, a cruiser, and a gunboat to scare them off. The Ohio, which had been left in Texas earlier to guard the system, soon fell to the Phantom's wrath shortly after I arrived. It was then that my vitals began dropping, apparently the stress caused by the twin battles one after another had caused my injuries to flare up again, so I docked with Houston and hoped the Phantoms would flee from our fleet as planned instead of engaging.
As of now, my bomber is out of commission from lack of proper weaponry.
