Today started off with a pair of wise-cracking pirates attacking Agent Fox. Luckily, I was already in the area and the two pirate bombers went down without a hassle.
When returning to Manhatten to get my bomber in for repairs, i came across an Outcast Destroyer named Horizon. I gave chase, however i was quickly overpowered and was forced to eject.
After quickly acquiring a new bomber I was back just in time to catch a smuggler named VILE, carrying Cardamine directly to Manhatten. With no Liberty Police in sight, i took it upon myself to stop the smuggler. He managed to dock with Manhatten but soon undocked and was blasted when he failed to pay the fine.
Whilst being busy with the smuggler, I missed the massive Outcast Destroyer heading straight for Manhatten! The Destroyer, Arazak, had no armour however, and it took only a small force to destroy him and rescue the numerous hostages aboard his ship.
After the explosion of Arazak, i thought i had a concussion or something because i heard the voice of a Rhienlander over my comms systems. It was [RSO]Blackhand~Nassau again, still wanting the honorable Captain Winston to face trial in Rhienland. After once again telling him there wasn't a chance in hell of him getting to the Captain, he tried to bribe me! I told him to leave Liberty immediately and drop the case against Captain Winston or he would have me to face.
Whilst all this was going on, a known enemy of Liberty, William Breen, had once again been claiming illegal bounties on lawfuls. We saw him blow up a Bounty Hunter before our eyes but he knew he couldn't take on the entire Liberty Navy and started retreating. Vice Admiral Hale gave the order to pursue and kill the target. Unfortunately he made it to Magellan and he disappeared of our sensors soon after.
Much of High Command was out in the field when the following attack occurred, but I still feel it necessary to detail the fight. Well, the first sign of trouble was when Vice Admiral Hale reported three gunboats and a bomber disrupting the Norfolk-West Point tradelane. The pirates engaged VA Hale in his lone fighter. I arrived in the LNS-Indiana soon after, however my weapons systems were still linked to the faulty targeting systems...basically i had little to no chance of winning against even one of the gunboats. After VA Hale's ship was decimated, i decided to do what i could and acquired the bomber as my new target. Bewildered, the bomber was not ready for my attack and was destroyed. I ordered a Class-1 evacuation of the LNS-Indiana. Luckily all crew escaped without harm. My shift was already up, and so i decided to take a lunch break.
When i returned later in the day, Commander Ryans, Agent Fox and myself were faced with four enemy gunboats, as well as two hostile bombers. The LNS-Lexington came just in time, and we were forced into an engagement outside Battleship Missouri. With the Missouri scaring the gunboats off, we were forced to pursue the enemies outside of the range of Missouri's weapons. Things went downhill from there, with the LNS-Lexington quickly falling to the sheer amount of weapons fire. Commander Ryans ordered we fall back, however his comms systems failed soon after, hit by enemy weapons fire. I managed to escape with minimal damage. The Missouri must have shown the pirates who's boss, because when i returned later all of the pirates were gone.
