Commander Karlo, I'm affraid that are not the last news about the Rheinlanders. I'm also affraid that apparently they and our dear friends, the Lane Hackers, have been working together, side by side. Not to long after the battle in Hudson, I was patroling near West Point, when our satelites in Virgina sent an emergency signal to all Navy ships. We had been invaded by a combined force of Unioners and Lane Hackers, we got all the reinforcements that we could, and have been waiting for them at the Texas gate in New York. I, in other way, got to Virginia, to provide information about the enemy fleet, and their course.
At the beggining this fleet, had a total of 6 fighters (4 unioners) and 1 Gunship (phate). I found them heading to Texas jump hole, our fleet got the message and moved to intercept.
We counted with a Siege Cruiser, a gunboat, and 3 or 4 Fighters (I can't recall the details about our fleet), and in the beggining we were doing ok, their Gunship seemed to be running away, but after we stopped chasing it, it came back, this happened several times.
It was a big and nasty mess, we weren't organized, and we lost the gunboat quickly, in those moments, they got more reinforcements, the Hellfire Legion came to assist them, and some Liberty Rogues too. We were heavily outnumbered, and our Siege cruiser didn't last long enought to destroy the bloody gunship.
After we lost the Cruiser, it was a matter of time until they destroy all our forces. There were about 10-12 hostiles fighters in the area, and 2 gunships (1 more just arrived).
I was making some time until the rest of our fleet flee to Houston, I took one of the bastards down, but unfourtanely the gunships wasn't there to just watch. I'm happy the rest of our fleet made to Houston.
