Apologies to High Command for the tardiness of this report - A recent injury in battle has left me out of commission.
>Rescued Hostages
Some good news however, two civilian hostages were rescued after that hostage-taker, Jayde.Wolffe, had an attack of good conscience. Both civilians were transported immediately to West Point awaiting further medical inspection. When returning to confront Jadye with the charges against her, she had vanished.
I found a Junker, named Rusty.Check, sitting right outside Manhatten making a deal with weapons distributer. The deal wasn't exactly my issue - His ship was my issue. I'd seen Rusty's ship be used by the Rogues on numerous occasions and so I thought it best to ask him a few questions about how he obtained it.
I ordered the weapons distributer to cease dealing with the Junker under Part 5, Section C, Paragraph 1 of the Liberty law charter.
Quote:Dealing of Arms to Pirates, terrorists and Rheinland; Defined as dealing of arms to hostile entities. Most commonly applied to those who deliver Light Arms or Military Vehicles to Liberty Rogue, Lane Hacker, Xenos and Rheinland Government bases. Penalty for less than 2500 tons is 2,000,000. Penalty for more than 2500 tons is 4,000,000 credits.
The weapons dealer complied and this didn't please Rusty one bit. He proceeded to activate cruise engines and head towards the debris field. A Navy gunboat, Leopard, assisted me with stopping the Junker for further questioning.
After a number of infractions, I decided to arrest the Junker after he threatened my life.
Rusty didn't comply and headed deeper into the debris field. I initiated a pursuit, however, more hostile contacts appeared on sensors. I ordered Leopard to fall back, but it was too late - They'd surrounded us.
I was engaged against two hostiles, Damion"Killa-Kanga"Crow and AscendantLight. With both of them being of bomber-class, I thought I stood a reasonable chance at neutralising them. It was then that another two fighters appeared into the mix - An Order pilot named crta and our old friend, Rusty.Check.
Myself and Leopard struggled against the hostiles for a while until finally one of them was downed - The rest soon fell to Leopard's precision aim and good judgement.
For his bravery and dedication to the task at hand, I'd like to commend Leopard's efforts for bringing down all of the hostiles encountered - I certainly wouldn't have made it without his assistance.
