Started my patrol with several circuits around Liberty, linking up with several officers including Ensign Preager, Ensign Willows, Ensign Tyin along with Captain Peters, Captain Malaign and the Captains of the Yellowstone, Thunderbolt, Ithaca and Fury later on.
With some minor skirmishes around Liberty, which included the rogue gunboat "Cameran" attacking Ensign Willows and Ensign Preager and a supposed Order gunboat that entered Manhattan orbit. As I closed in on the fight against the rogue gunboat, the officers present already had the gunboat contained and was destroyed. The Order gunboat, Eye of the Beholder, was sighted near Fort Bush by Captain Peters, as we both gave pursuit to Manhattan. The ship tried to mask its sensor readings, but with the help of Manhattan control, and the bounty hunters that were already firing it we managed a lock on. The gunboat soon fell and the capital was quiet once more.
Later, with Captain Malaign, Steven O'Grady and Richardo James Garuda-1 joining us, we spotted a rogue destroyer by the name of Stahlfaust just outside the Mississippi's range. I ordered the battlegroup which consisted of LNS Fury in a cruiser, LNS Ithaca in a dreadnought, and the Yellowstone also in a cruiser to yellow alert. Possible hostiles were also around which were Junkers in gunboats. The Destroyer finally tried to flee towards the debris field where we engaged the vessel. It fled into the field and back into New York where we disengaged our pursuit.
Joined by Director Fluid and Agent Verrelli of the LSF, I was messaged by [*USI*]Cleveland[P]. Apparently part of a trader group, he had somehow acquired Rheinland weaponry. After asking the Director, I took the weapons and dropped them off on the Missouri for further research. The techs believe that the weapons are Tachyon and Plasma weapons.
Ensign Willows, Ensign Tyin, Ensign Preager, as always, a pleasure to be flying with such fine officers. I'm sure we've all learned a little something today? Also, thank you Captain of the Yellowstone to be keeping an eye out for these officers in California. A rather long day, however more interesting near the end to say the least, Captain.... and with that, concludes my day report.
