From: Lieutenant Kentaurus Toliman, Liberty Navy
Quite the busy day today in Liberty.
After attending a training session, I returned to NY where I met up with Ensign Bishop, and Commander Ypsilantis. From there we Proceeded to California where we escorted a shipment to Willard. After Having secured that. While at Willard, an unidentified AI ship passed the station, while interrogating the unknown entity, it bolted. The Commander made pursuit while I was charged with escorting the transports back towards Cortez.
Once that mission was completed, Myself and Bishop returned to NY for new orders and assignments. At this time Vice Admiral Anderson had begun his patrols. Ypsilantis was engaged with a Joker thug by the name of Shushy. (It should be noted that at the same time, [RM] forces were spotted in New Hampshire, however =LSF= Agents responded to that area. I am unsure on the details of the outcome, however I am sure an =LSF= representative will clarify soon).
I had received a report that there were Rhineland forces had appeared in the Texas System. After confirming the targets with LRS, Winchester, Comm. Ypsilantis, and myself responded to the incident. Much to our surpirse, we found ourselves facing two Rhineland Battleships and a bomber. Needless to say, or small force could not handle the three of them at once. We remained out of firing range and one of the Battleships left the engagement area towards Hudson. We continued to maintain a safe distance and visual contact with the remaining Battleship and bomber craft until the LNS-Justice arrived on scene. With the aid of the Justice, the battleship was destroyed. The Commander was called back to deal with an incident in California (hopefully file a report about that later), Myself and Winchester remained to deal with the remaining bomber. The enemy bomber managed to get a lucky shot off with his SNAC and Winchester was forced to eject from his ship. It was pretty much a stalemate between me (in my bomber) and the enemy. Bueller came to assist me, however, the target bugged out, and we were unable to continue the pursuit. However, all Rhineland forces in Texas at that time had been repelled.
We were later joined that night by Commanders Kapinos and Casero who assisted with the regular patrols. Kapinos and Winchester (who was fitted into a new ship), interdicted a pair of pirates in California, Vice Admiral Anderson took Bueller for a patrol in the Colorado system, and Myself and the Ypsilantis handled the NY approaches. A single [RM] ship was spotted in Texas, Ypsilantis and I (after a quick ship change), proceeded to the target zone. Just as the target ship came into visual range, it reversed it's heading and made a mad dash to Hudson JG. The [RM] ship managed to slip through the gate, just as the final sequence to lock the gate was entered.
