now - this is supposed to be a faction ship for the harvesters. - it is modelled after the factions history ( faction creation )



the size is the length of the rheinland pirate cruiser ( which is supposed to be the replacement model - but thats up to discussion )

well - i had not intended to post it publicly but rather submit it without presenting it - but i guess some people might have a word about such a ship - so we agreed to present it anyway.

pictures show the fully textured, hardpointed ship in omega-49.

this ship is rather easy to fly due to its slim and tubelike shape ( like the spyglass ). - its not a 100% freelancer concept - but as freelancer progresses, so do the ships. ( sort of whats why i asked in the other thread about how much we can get away from the original vanilla ships )

edit: - for those that do not know what the rheinland pirate cruiser is ... its the starhauler - a star wars model of some type of the countless star destroyers ( a rather small one though )

it IS inspired by Farscape - if someone wondered.

Well, anything's better than that bloody pirate cruiser, but this model is an overkill replacement.

(Barely anyone's using RH pirate cruisers anyway - if they have to, they go for Hessian ones)

The ship itself looks very nice, and I would love to see it in the mod. However I would object to it replacing the Rheinland pirate cruiser. Make it a new addition rather, since the pirate cruiser is still used by groups in Rheinland who aren't Hessians. Considering the ship is going to have a different background rather than simply it being an upgrade of the last type, I think it will destroy certain RPs and force people to abandon their pirate cruisers for a different ship type.
