Detailed Background, a Paragraph (the more we can learn about you, the better): I learned the value of community - having quality guys and gals at your back - during my hometown years. I studied pharmacology and military history at Columbia U, before I decided that I had completely wasted my parents's money with that junk and worked a couple dead-end jobs (shout-out to SB East Side PTA, love you guys) before I ended up with ALG as a, uh "security consultant". I can't really talk too much about what I did with them, non-disclosure and all that. The pay was pretty good, but I think it's time for a change. Got nothing against the good folks at ALG, but I don't think corporate is for me.
Why do you want to join the Junker Marauders? What can you bring to JM?: I'm interested in action, not drills. I'm not looking to strap into a Guardian and get shot down over and over again by some French asshole, stuck at terminal E-3 for my trouble. I think the JM is my best shot. I'll bring my technical and organizational experience, a devoted team player, and a mouth that knows when to stay shut. I've got a deck of cards, too, so in case you lost yours, poker suddenly becomes an option again.

How long have you been playing Freelancer Discovery for?: August or September of 2009, on and off.
How long have you played a Junker character for, if at all? (Not important, it's just useful to know if you've played a Junker before. We accept both people who have and people who haven't played a Junker before): I was in the short-lived Collectors group some time around, I believe, 2011, and had maybe about a dozen hours logged with them. Aside from that, I have very little first-hand experience with playing Junkers, but I understand their role quite well.
In your own words, how would you define a Quasi-Lawful?: A quasi-lawful is someone who operates under the guise of legality while engaging in illegal or grey-area activities in a smart and subtle enough way not to get nailed for it, or at the least, never enough of a thorn for the authorities (the ones that can't be bribed anyway) to bother interfering with them.
How familiar are you with the Borderworlds?: Very.
How familiar are you with smuggling?: Sufficiently.
How familiar are you with piracy?: Plenty.
What factions have you been in previously?: A lot of them.
Why do you want to join the Junker Marauders? What can you offer?: I want to join because I have a few fun ideas for ways the JM can expand its activities and because I want to do stuff with my friends who are already in the faction. I offer an open and creative mind, fresh insights, and tracker hours.

Well, you've got yor Zoners who are Lawful Neutral an' you've got th' Junkers who are Chaotic Neutral.
The Zoners do th' right ting for th' wrong reasons an' Junkers do th' wrong ting for th' right reasons.
If yor sick ov petty squabbl's an' want th' freedom t' choose yor own path wit'out some gover'ment man watchin' over yor shoulder, ya go quasi-lawful. Say "yessir" t' their face while quietly kickin' th' chair out from under 'em.

I spent a lot of time taking freelance contracts to move things that people needed. Sometimes those things weren't exactly legal, but I digress. The movement of illicit goods has been my life for nearly three decades now. I ain't been caught and sure as hell don't plan to be. I've been running my own show outta' my apartment since I moved into it. My ma' sometimes makes it difficult when she brings snacks into meetings. (Yeah. I live with my ma'. What's it to you?)
Anyway. I've gone all over Sirius. I ain't a fan of Kusari and I ain't afraid to get my hands dirty if you know what I mean. Never been married, so I ain't got a lot of ties.

Why do you want to join the Junker Marauders? What can you offer?: I've liked the idea of a Junker faction more focused on the unlawful aspects.
Detailed Background, a Paragraph (the more we can learn about you, the better): I was born on Vogtland Station into a poor family, growing up I had just enough live fine. I gained quite a knack for taking things I liked and not being caught in the process. I considered enlisting into the Army, but that never appealed to me, especially as I got older and saw how quickly leadership shifted.
Around the age of 20 I started moving some important products for the Red Hessians, the profit was solid at first. Over the years it got redundant, and the Hessians don't like giving people a raise, everything's expected. But that was when I ran into one of your kind, see doing business for the Army has me limited, but doing business with you has limitless opportunities for money making.

Detailed Background, a Paragraph (the more we can learn about you, the better): Born into a life of hard graft as the son of an ice miner on Erie, Bill quickly realised that you have to take what you want in this world. When his father passed he inherited little other than a worn out Sunburst freighter. By the age of 23 Bill had made a small fortune smuggling and salvaging throughout Sirius, making a name for himself amongst the Junkers. Now how resides in the border worlds between Liberty and Kusari with one aim - to create a home for the junkers with Kusari.

I've spent my time working in places like Humboldt, Omega-2, and Bering. I specialize in combat with non-combat vessels. If I'm a part of your operation, you can expect a boost in productivity, and a decrease in losses.

Seen many things in my short years. Enough to know this economy is unstable. Won't last long. Existential threats lurk on the edges of our perception. Most can't see it. Squabbles for resources are petty. One man can only accomplish so much. Knowledge brought back from the shrine is... unsettling at best. Must prepare. Best course of action would seem to be guiding the events of Sirius from the shadows, and with force when necessary. Junkers potential for influence greater than all other factions. Why do you want to join the Junker Marauders? What can you bring to JM?:
"Lawful" and "Criminal" are subjective terms; useless in the grand scheme. Violence is a means to an end, yet usually unnecessary. Connections across universe useful. Freedom from House tyranny is essential.

I can't really say. Ive had Freelancer since it came out (i was a kid). Was always looking for good mods on it. Found Discovery like 2-3 years ago but didn't get too deep into it. I want a true neutral character. Like i said in character: Legal and Illegal are subjective terms, and I don't want to limit myself to being one or the other. I also was reading in to discovery rules and how powerful factions can influence some of the story. I would like to do that. Junkers funding warring factions for their own interests. Previous Jobs/Roles: Bit of military action for a few years. Then did long haul for various Liberty Corporations.
Detailed Background, a Paragraph (the more we can learn about you, the better): Divorced, three adult kids, and an apartment in Houston. Fought in the Liberty Navy for a time, took the voluntary discharge. Made Sergeant first class. Sense of duty, but was bored. I like a bit more of the mercurial experiences, ones I can adapt a winning formula to.
