Report Begins
Star Colonel Etomgi Sahega led a battlegroup consisting of numerous fighter craft, which I joined, and the [HF]-HFGB-Emperor into New York. We were taunted by an Archer-class cruiser captain of the LNS-Arctique stationed at West Point, proclaiming himself invulnerable to our strike force.
We dispatched his ship, and his crew with ease.
Shortly after, we encountered a rather tense situation with Battlegroup Harmony. Diplomatic talks began at a very unfavourable location of the Trade Lanes between West Point and the California Jump Gate. I was shortly requested to dispatch a troublesome LSF agent present at the scene, and so he was vaporised.
We proceeded to the Texas Jump Gate, where intel had unconfirmed reports about a heavy Navy capital ship. The vessel, an Atlantis class carrier, LNS-Chattahoochee was sighted near the New York inter-system jumphole, and Star Colonel Etomgi Sahega intercepted the large vessel, which drifted at impulse speed towards Norfolk Shipyard, where the Battleship Missouri and multiple gunboats and snub craft were awaiting us. After calling in artillery support in the form of the Abaddon and Damocles, and re-rallying our snub force, we destroyed most of the defenders at Norfolk Shipyard. We returned to Hesperia after the battle to re-supply our battlegroup in preparation for our next movement in Liberty.

Members of High Command,
I figuratively sat down with several members of Battlegroup Harmony on the lane from Westpoint to the California jumpgate very recently, I put all our cards on the table, no tricks and no sugar-coating anything, I made it clear that there was never an intent to hurt them, at least to the best of my own knowledge as XO.
We have entered into a temporary Non-Aggression-Pact and I will be expecting all of you to keep our men from trying to scratch the itch they may have on their trigger fingers, it wasn't easy getting this far and I will be meeting insubordination with guaranteed discharge and even execution if anyone is to cause collateral damage going against this order.
It was a tense discussion to even open them up to considering dropping hostilities and it won't be any easier should we enter talks, I can't emphasize how delicate this situation is and how easily it could fracture due to multiple factors both internally and externally, so your full cooperation in keeping everyone in line will count towards the success or failure of this effort. Do not let me down and do not let the Commonwealth down.
We exchanged the versions of the relevant incident specific to our sides and the disparity turned out to be rather concerning, there are several details that are amiss between their version and ours, but that's besides the point, someone has clearly manipulated information and whoever this is, is the cause of the tensions that I intend to undo.
We are currently awaiting the final word from their Admiral, it'll most likely be addressed to me personally or to our Upper Echelon, in any case, you'll know what her response is when we get it, until then I need you to keep a handle on the situation, we cannot afford any screw-ups and I can't be any clearer than this.

Report Begins
Today's patrol has been very successful. Due to unusual high traffic, I patrolled along the lanes of Cortez. Some Freelancers and traders here and there. There's been a Navy pilot trying to hunt a Rogue. He said himself that he was escorting a convoy earlier, when a Hacker vessel ambushed them. According to him, the Hacker managed to escape. While we had a talk about Liberty's political situation in Cortez, the Rogue returned from Coronado and lured the both of us towards the California gate. Unexpectedly, an Outcast ship, piloted by the Commune's Overlord Jared Nomak uncloaked in front of the gate. I ordered the Navy and Freelance pilot to leave to California, but they refused. Unwillingly from my side, Navy pilot Kazuo and me stood against Nomak and the Rogue. We both left Cortez victorious.

I'll keep this brief,
I took our patrol boat Undaunted out for a routine patrol, finding another vessel belonging to the Republic within the system of California, close to the planetary defense systems. Rather obviously, fighting ensued because they were flashing naval codes, though unfortunately a Colonel in a battleship came between that and forced us to disengage. Out of pride, the Captain of the enemy patrol boat pursued our trail into Magellan and even stayed near the jumphole to Vespucci, at which point I authorized to Invictus to dispatch it.
Through the course of the second battle I ordered the crew to target life support, it was the only way to be certain regardless of how unethical it might have seemed. With the crew of the enemy vessel eliminated the lifeless hulk rammed into a few rocks and the engines summarily failed without someone to observe it, leaving it there to be collected. And no I didn't allow the crew the luxury of taking any pictures, it wasn't an honorable sight.
By this point it should be within our hands to serve as an additional, albeit battered, patrol craft.

A good morning start,
I had the pleasure of responding to Fleet Marshall Brass this morning on account of him being harassed by a Navy cruiser near the California gate in New York. Upon approaching the gate to New York from Hesperia, a Commonwealth bomber callsign "Vault.Torn" jumped through before me, lending aid against the cruiser captain. While two bombers and the Fleet Marshall's fighter proved effective, it wasn't quick, and after a few dizzying charges Brass elected to return to California to retrieve the Invictus.
Upon arrival with the battlecruiser, the Navy dog's fate was sealed, and with a final blast at his engines, my glorious flamberge caused the poor fool's ship to falter and quit, destroying the ship and nailing us a good start to a good morning. The rest of the group returned to Hesperia, turning to other business.
So ends my report, but I did have one request to make. With my new level of permissions, I'm asking to requisition the gunship that Executive Commander Dalgaard disabled in Magellan yesterday. The Defiant is a smaller piece than the Inquisitor the Legion fields, but as I've been using Liberty's base tech for a while now, using something with similar tech layouts, a smaller frame and a fairly good bit of room to adapt would make it pretty useful in my hands, I'd say.

Members of High Command
I am formally requesting permission to requisition from Legion Armory a set of Codenamed weaponry, to greater assist the Legion in its combat efforts. I believe that I have proven myself sufficiently experienced in combat to use these weapons against our foes. In particular, a set of 4 Project EXCALIBUR weapons. If you have any other terms, feel free to name them.
Name:Tom Lewis Rank:Major Subject:Vespucci-Magellan Report, 19th of January
Report Begins
A patrol began yesterday with a rendezvous at the Magellan Jumphole in Vespucci with the Last Sunrise, and a secondary fleet pilot, Amelie Lacroix as well as myself. We entered into a small skirmish with a Rogue Scylla-class destroyer which was supported by small craft. We emerged from that skirmish victorious easily. We jumped to Magellan afterwards to investigate, as we believed the strike force we encountered was a recon party.
Upon jumping, we encountered another group of criminals waiting for us, along with another Scylla class destroyer. Noticing that we were under serious attack, we scouted the surrounding areas to investigate, where we found more and more wings of pirates waiting for us, with Outcasts accompanying the Rogue ships. Even more outrageous, we encountered multiple Sarissa-class Battleships. We called for backup numerous times during our patrol to support us, as these ships were too close to Vespucci, and we could not leave these ships unchecked. Even a Commonwealth citizen joined us in a bomber to assist us in the defense. We discovered a criminal base in the vicinity, guarded by a large fleet of pirate ships. We defeated the defenders, and boarded the base, and found large stashes of Cardamine, as well as scientific-related data in the form of blackboxes, video recordings and notes. We salvaged most of the data, but did not confiscate most of the Cardamine onboard the base.
After taking what we could, we had a short discussion about what to do with the base, deciding to salvage the husk for parts, and afterwards, promptly returned to the Vespucci Jumphole in Magellan. To our great horror, we found a gigantic fleet of Outcast and Rogue ships, supported by what was no less than an Outcast Ranseur, preparing to jump to Vespucci. We immediately intercepted the fleet, and called for bomber support to deal with the monstrosity. After a prolonged battle, we emerged victorious.
The Last Sunrise took significant damage, and returned to dry dock to rearm and repair. We consolidated most of the scientific data and the cardamine, and have handed them over to R&D safely for analysis. A haz-mat team was escorted to the location of the base to dispose of the drugs still remaining.
You might be interested to know I encountered Sahega Etomgi in Kansas system today. Oddly, she was extremely paranoid, accusing me to be here to kill her and mentioning something about SAD killsquads sent after her by Hellfire Legion...
No matter what I said, she became angrier to the point she engaged me. I had to defend myself.
Her prosecutor was destroyed shortly after. I stayed in the area for a long while, attempting to locate her drop pod, to no avail. I... Think her ship powercore had a critical failure, given how quick the prosecutor exploded, leaving automated systems no time to ensure the pilot safety.
This is quite saddening. I respected Sahega-san a lot. I do not know what caused her to act this way. Is there something I should know?
Regardless, I'm urging you to send a rescue team by F4, Kansas system. The prosecutor debris should be easily found.
