After the Libertine charged in and asserted its battlefield superiority over the Liberty Navy's armor, it retreated; it'd been heavily damaged from fusillades from all three Liberty Navy warships. For me, however, the fight continued - several Liberty Police fighters were still active, and it fell to me to take them down. I decided to do so alone, thereby preventing the Liberty Police's not incompetent Captain Hamilton from going after a softer target, and ordered my wingmen back. Captain Hamilton received reinforcements in the form of Officer Hank Goodman - Officer Goodman's Liberator was first to go, Captain Hamilton's followed a little later. Not a single lawman/lawwoman remained in the field.
Mike Krestian had decided to return to the area, by the way - a Bounty Hunters Guild bomber had arrived on the scene, Krestian asked me for permission to take it down. I agreed - why not, after all - and I'm pleased to report Krestian proved better than his opponent. Ned out.
