High Command,
On my first mission flying Hellfire colours, I made it deep within Liberty to the New York system. The amount of technology on board the Sabre provided by the Legion meant it was quite simple to snake into Liberty undetected. I was accompanied by Legionnaire Salt and it wasn't too long before we found ourselves a Navy gunboat, callsign "TF7|Audacity".
This gunboat had a single Guardian escort, callsign "Gordon". Quite aggressively, the Guardian ordered us out of Liberty, else face the consequences. We chose the latter.
The gunboat was destroyed and fighter deserted the battlefield.
Shortly after, the Incursus came online and we all regrouped over Norfolk shipyard. Minutes later, a Navy battle-group launched and was bearing down on our location. We engaged all Navy targets and through our superior tactics, managed to destroy a Navy Dreadnought and gunboat in quick succession - All without losing any ships.
The rest of the Navy squadron fled back to Norfolk.
The next day, I ran into an entire fleet moving to wipe out an AI cruiser, callsign "Research.Drone-Muse". With the Navy occupied in hot pursuit after the target, I managed to scan several of their warships and escape in a matter of minutes.
I'm sure these images will assist in future battle-tactics.
After shutting down systems and resting at Ouray for the night, I woke to the distress beacon in my Sabre beeping - The Navy had struck against Magellan, closing in on the Vespucci jumphole. Immediately I made my way to Magellan as fast as possible. Over the public comms in New York, the Navy was transmitting a code red alert to all lawful ships in the system to make their way to Magellan. I decided to try and delay reinforcements as much as possible by damaging trade lanes and leaving false emergency transponders floating in space behind me. Fortunately, the Douglas had simply "locked" the Magellan jumpgate down instead of making its way into the system.
This bought our forces time to assemble. I started to distract the captain of the Douglas with constant questioning. During this time, I took note of the hostile's ships and numbers.
Eventually, both fleets assembled and I made my way to Magellan to assist my fellow Legionnaires. The fight was explosive - But in the end, the Legion was victorious.
A small question for Command - Why do the Bretonian Armed Forces think they can intrude into Magellan with a battleship and suffer no consequences for it? The alliance between Liberty and Bretonia worries me greatly if they pool their resources into hunting the Legionnaires.
Perhaps they need to be taught to stay out of issues that don't concern them? Of course, I'm merely thinking out loud, Command.
Today, I was called into battle behind Manhatten. The Navy had amassed forces to assault several Legionnaires - Including the deadly anti-bomber Dreadnought Los Vegas. I'm proud to say we decimated the enemy through superior skill and tactics.
