I'll start with a copy of a message from one of our newer transport captains.

My name is William Loc and I am one of the newest additions to our ranks, as my papers were cleared today, and already I am running into trouble! I was attacked by the RHL and they heinously demanded 10 million SC from me! Luckily I was right outside Freeport 1 and was able to dock before their Vidar cruiser was able to damage me. I hope this can be solved, Im currently being held here in Freeport 1 as they have threatened to keep cruisers posted outside at all times.

This is from William Loc, the captain of a Big Dragon transport. Setting aside the fact that this is more money than he was likely to have on-hand for the moment, we have a few problems.

First, we've been actively supplying the Bundschuh. Assuming business hasn't changed much there, the Hessians probably consider this a good thing.

Second, this happened within range of Freeport 1's shield.

Now, I'm aware that different groups of Hessians can't do a lot to control each other. However, it would be appreciated if you attempt to... educate these individuals.

While Loc wasn't on his way to a Bundschuh base at the time, this does make future deliveries a riskier proposition; we've been counting on only being shot at by one group of warships, not two.

And of course, I'm sure the Zoners don't appreciate having pirate warships plying their trade just outside their stations. Loc was unable to get visual evidence of his location when they were attempting to extort him, unfortunately, but their threat to station two cruisers at the Freeport is clearly in the logs.

Good day, herr Escher. First of all, I beilive that all happened as your pilot reported, you have no cause to make casus belli on Red Hessian Army. But then I have a question.

Did our cruisers fire a shot on your ship?

And after that, I've searched through our agreements with Vagrant Raiders, and you've only been granted with docking rights on Freital and Viernheim, not with some kind of immunity. More than that, you've been asked to deliver intel on Corsair operations you'll came across in exchange.

Right now Red Hessian Army counts your organisation as neutral. But neutrality doesn't mean, that you are exсeption from donation list of our secondary fleet pilots.

Perhaps, if you'll include hessian bases to your delivery list, situation will change.

Sorry for butting in like this but I don't want to see any firefights erupt in the Omegas with our boys. If it costs us some coinage and some time shipping to the Hessians, that's fine. I can reimburse anything absurd.

In the meantime, let Erasmas know that if this happens again, pay the man, grab the logs, and submit them to internal affairs. Tobiah will reimburse them.

Let's hope that Tobiah doesn't have to write too many invoices...
