Well, hello folks. As you might've guessed, this is Camille's character feedback thread, as well as a occasional dumping ground for plot-notes and character commentary. It'll have largely unrelated character facts (for instance, Camille is allergic to shellfish. Now you know.), justification, and frantic attempts to justify plot-holes.
In the meantime, it'll also serve as an explanation for the various codes I tend to put in my story and biography titles, and a hub for when I run out of space in my signature.
Camille's something a bit new for me, in the sense that she's both one of the first characters for whom I've committed a (somewhat) complete biography to paper, and one of my first attempts at playing the bad guy. That's not to say she's a psychopath, she lives, loves and fears just like anyone else. She's just got some less-then noble schemes driving her onwards.
That aside, this is a feedback thread, so if you've got any comments; good, bad, or ugly from your interactions with Camille or suggestions on any on the role-play on the forums, please let me know! I'm not a native French speaker or astrophysicist, so there's bound to be the odd error here and there, and if you find one, drop me a line before it can spread!
I'm generally quite happy to get involved in RP, so if you'd like Camille to make an appearance in a story, drop this account a PM and we'll see what we can work out.

Well, we all knew this was going to happen eventually. For those of you that haven't been introduced to TV Tropes, I advise you to steer well clear. If crack cocaine and adrenaline had a love child, only to have it adopted and raised by the Cadbury company, you'd only be beginning to approach how addictive this website is. That being considered, it's about time Camille got her own trope page.
Arms Dealer: Alexandrie Lefevre, Camille's primary alias certainly fits this trope, though she is perhaps less knowledgeable of her products then she should be... Berserk Button: Don't mention her old flight school results. Burial in Space: Camille gave a surprisingly respectful one to a libertonian freighter pilot she killed during her escape from Beaumont Base, though she would argue it was a matter of necessity. Churchgoing Villian: More out of habit than any deeply-held religious convictions, Camille will happily go to church on Sunday and be back in the cockpit subjecting Bretonia the very next day. Deadpan Snarker: Dangerously common in the Royal Navy. One has to wonder what exactly those those recruiters were looking for.
27th|Felix.Edwards: Are you visiting? We want you out, right now. GRN|Camille.Gabriel.: Well. That's hardly an appropriate way to treat a guest.
RPC-Vatan: "Directeur Lucas Gerald of the Gallic Royal Police." GRN|Daniel.Nielsen: Great, the fuzz is followin' me even to the warfront, huh. RPC-Vatan: "Gallia is a place of beauty. You should be proud to defend her." GRN|Daniel.Nielsen: Yeah well, so far I've only been defendin' th'place 'a beauty that is Leeds.
Death World: Gaia might be a garden world, but it's a long way from a picnic. Between the tides of unfriendly wildlife, the least of which are ant-like creatures more then capable of removing an arm or two while you sleep, and some less-than pleased locals, it's not a great place to be a Legionnaire. Borneo gets an honorable mention for its man-devouring marine life. Even Evil Has Standards: Depending on how much you define Camille as evil. Regardless, she loathes the idea of shooting someone in the back, even when fleeing. If they're facing her; however, it's an entirely different matter. Faster-Than-Light Travel: Yeah, Camille. Hanging around that juggernaut while it charges jump drives can't possibly go wrong. Glory Seeker: Camille's original motivation for joining the military was to return to Lyons as a hero. It's a contributing factor in her constant volunteering for less-than-safe missions. I Did What I Had To Do: Camille's escape from Liberty was chock-full of this. Supplies for a cross-system trip don't appear out of thin air, and a known fugitive can't exactly afford to be picky about what happens to the ship that carried them. Kinetic Weapons Are Just Better: Averted. When she's forced to use solid-projectile weapons during her flight from Liberty, Camille empties the magazine and manages to kill... One street sign. Legion Of Lost Souls: The Gallic Foreign Legion, of course. Living Ship: Harbinger, a Valor-sized nomad of indefinite age and tremendous psychic power. Probably qualifies as an eldirtch starship as well. Mildly Military: Considering the rag-tag composition of the Legion, it's hardly surprising. Camille takes it as an excuse to skip military formalities, such as a uniform. Old-School Dogfight: Do they ever. Camille's personal code of honor obligates her to offer an enemy this sort of duel; often to the detriment of common sense. Rewarded As A Traitor Deserves: A Junker hired to transport Camille back to the safety of the Taus instead betrayed her to the Bretonians for a cash bounty. She fully intends to find him and enforce this trope. Space Pirates: 'Striking supply lines' is a common tactic among the Legion. The Mole: Relatively frequently, if it'll get her out of the usual base restrictions. The Political Officer: Played with. While Camille considers herself to be one of these, she has no formal position, nor actual power to punish disloyalty to the Crown, beyond a line to the Marechal. This does nothing to stop her. Worthy Opponent: Camille has this attitude toward the Colonials. The rest of Sirius? Not so much.
