Some people don't think about things? I have no idea.
What I don't understand is, do these people really think they will win? I mean it's not like anyone forced them to wast there money and eat there (yes, I don't like Mcdonald's (sorry to the people that do)) you can't blame your over eating of that kind of food on someone else. (I don't think you would get obese unless you ate there a lot)
IT DOESN'T MATTER WHAT I SAID, IT MATTERS WHAT I MEANT!!!!

While we are at the stereotype stuff, is it a russian man?

Srs time.
By american law, you cannot sue someone due to food making you overweight. Why? Because it's stupid to do that. You should know what you are putting into your own body. One person got away with it back in the day before the law was made.
Also as to why people still eat it. It's because most Americans are uninformed, near brainwashed, worker-class people. They don't know any better. I had someone try to prove to me Burger King was in league with the NSA (He didn't know what the NSA was) and that's why McDonalds is better. This is a 32 year old man.
edit: Supersize Me was dramatized by the way. it was set up to make McDonalds look bad. Most of it was staged or overreacted. Go advertising?

I heard once that a woman won a lawsuit against a company manufacturing microwave heaters, because there was no warning on the product she bought from them that if she wants to dry her cat with it, the cat will die. She tried, the cat died, she sued and won. Things like this taught me that common sense isn't that common at all and arguments like "it's stupid to do so" doesn't really stand in several situations.
Oh, I also heard Jamie Oliver (or some other famous chef) suing McDonalds and proving their food is inedible so that they had to change their recipe.
You'll learn the value of McDonalds, when you'll be going to business trips to Central and South-eastern Asia routinely. Though, yes, eating at McDonaldns daily isn't really the brightest idea, but they are much better as emergency filling stations than any random local greasy spoon. Cause it's really good for your mental health to have a bit of hope for personal that washing their hands once. And you have less doubts about what your food is really made of.
There is nothing wrong with McDonalds in moderation, everything in moderation.
The people suing McDonalds are usually very healthy people who don't like McDonalds and think everyone should agree with their opinion and want their ideas enforced through law. Most people don't eat at McDonalds because it taste the best but because of its convenience.
Coming from a college student fast food is often convenient between going to class for 5 hours and work for 8.
