On behalf of the Unione Corse, and myself, I want to say that it was a real pleasure working with you in the Tau-23 system a few days ago. The profits from that venture were quite astounding! It was most fortunate that our Java Station office picked up your signal while we were operating near by.
While I do not have a formal offer to present to you, I would think it would be beneficial to both of our parties if we were able to do more such ventures in the future. As we are not running under the direct blessings of the Crown, we must look out for one another, oui? I'm certain you understand!
I, we, look forward to hearing what you think of such an idea.
Oui oui, cela m'a fait grand plaisir d'avoir de vos nouvelles. It was certainly a pleasure to work with you and your men for a bit whilst ironically on vacation. As I mentioned in the fields, I commonly wear two hats - first and foremost, that of EFL Oil & Machinery and second, Gallic Metal Service. To put a long story quite short, Pierre St. Denis and I have been friends for quite a while, and though my days in the Service are over, a bit of hard work in a miner can bring back those old memories of a life well-earned. Not to mention the quite beneficial side effect of getting me away from my wife. Since she retired, the noise is . . . constant.
That being said, it would certainly be well beyond my purview to attempt to speak on Monsieur St. Denis's behalf, and whilst I certainly believe based on our rather long encounter the Corse can offer much to the Service, that determination is best left to him. I will certainly forward my own enthusiastic recommendation.
Merci for the information. We appreciate your honesty in this matter, and your recommendation. I'm sure it will go a long way with pursuading Monsieur St. Denis to do business with us!
Of course if you ever find yourself on vacation again, we would be most willing to help spice up your day with some mining endeavours should you wish to work with us once again. Until next time, monsieur!
