Derelict Nomad Artifact

Hi, I see Derelict Nomad Artifacts selling for allot in the forum market, I looked it up on the wiki and it just seems to be a commodity. Is that all it is or can you equip it?

The Derelict Nomad Artifact is merely a commodity. There is no 'practical' use for it, other than using it in Roleplay if you have a story which could make use of one.

There's no PvP gain from the item. Merely something rare to carry around.

Edit: Ah, that completely skipped my mind. As stated below, it is a commodity needed to build a cloak factory when the Playerbases were still enabled.

It was used as a commodity that was needed for the bases. They were needed to build the cloaking factory. I'm not sure if they have any use now though
