Well, both Majkp and I have been working for a few hours this afternoon, messing around with the software running on the server, and we've finally managed it. Death Messages on the server are once again working perfectly, and everything seems to be stable. All the old setting, including the rampages, amoks, and godlikes are back in place, and are what weapon you were killed by. We'll be monitoring it for the next few days to make sure all is well, but we should be fine.
Oh, and just to prove they're working. <_<
Thanks to the volunteers that let me blow them up to make sure the messages were working.
Been online a bit, and it seems to work great. Dustin, can I slap you? (j/k0

I sort of noticed this when the Xenos (Mix of XA and Sons of Liberty) invaded NY today. Prospector managed to kill three cruisers (Fear the Prospector GB!:P). We sort of lost in the end, but when Me, Prospector and Bernodette were hanging out at ouray afterwords, a BHG death machine showed up, so we killed it, erm, I mean, prospector killed it (he got the death message anyways..).
