Freital was silent. Colonel Hertz had come back. In a coffin. Dead. A statue had been erected in his honor of his donations to the people of Freital. A small burial procession was underway. The men and women of the Rote Jaeger were gathered around a launch-tube, from which the coffin was fired. Heindrich Von Stielburg, stepped forward to make a speech. "Colonel Hertz...was a great man...a hero, to us all. Let us never forget him, ever. Let's make the ones who killed him pay." Stielburg looked at the crowd in dismay. They'd have expected more of a speech from him, Hertzs' left hand man, but he was still too shocked to get back to his senses. He sat back down, slowly, and awaited the speeches of the others gathered for the funeral.
