I know you younglings are more likely to experiment with drugs because you think "I am not like that guy so I won't become addicted."
Well, newsflash: you may not be like him NOW, but drugs will change that.
Withdrawals are terrible.
Lack of sleep, malnutrition, constant pain all throughout the body because your pain cells start turning on all at once after they were stunned by the drug and vomiting are only the beginning and this is just day one.
Day 2 will be far worse and withdrawals can last for over a month, not to mention the constant cravings that will make you beg for the drug every second of your life.
I intend to stop, currently going through the end of day 1 and I wish that I have never picked the drug in the first place.
My teeth are almost gone too to make feeding even more difficult.
If this prevents even one person from starting down this horrible path then I am happy knowing that my experience saved someome's life.
Edit: Tomorrow I will post how my day 2 is like if I will be able.
This is the worst place for advice. Or sharing a life story. Untrue or true.
Seek help if what you say is the truth. If not, thank you for sharing well-known facts about drugs.
I smoke Cannabis occasionally, same way I have a drink occasionally, I see no difference in either drug, they aren't that addictive, not to me at least.
I did have a Codeine addiction once for a few weeks, I was prescribed them by a Doctor when I injured my back in the Gym, I kept going back to said doctor asking him for more, even though the pain had gone, I was taking 180mg per dose in the end (standard dose is 60mg), at that point I though "F this", and stopped, felt like absolute crap for a few days, hardly comparable to what you're going through, but I understand the urge.
Hope you get through this man!
One bizarre way my friend quit smoking:
He bought around £200 worth of Weed, booked two weeks off work, locked his door, and smoked it every day as much as possible, at the end he said his cravings for Cigarettes were gone completely.
Are you doing this on your own? Or with professional support?
I smoke weed everyday. Done in moderation most things are fine. 'Withdrawal' is only because our brains stop producing certain pleasure feeling hormones naturally since the drug induces it when it's molecules attach to certain receptors. The brain will go back to producing it naturally after you are off the dope for a bit hence the withdrawal period. We can even kick start the brain back into producing it naturally and thereby forego the whole withdrawal period entirely, problem here in the West is, our gov't treat is a criminal issue not a health issue so the FDA has it's hands tied to approve this reversal process and treat addictions.
