As requested I am attaching a report of the incident between myself and some of your men in New London earlier this day. I am sorry that it ended this way but I feel, and I am sure my superiors will reprimand me if I am wrong, that your people left me no choice after the shear arrogance and disregard for Bretonian Authority shown.
Tator and I hope that all your people arrived back home safely. We could not find the Escape Pod from the Barge, but as you can imagine there was an awful amount of debris left around after its destruction.

Earlier today Tator and I had an encounter with GMG in New London at approximately 0030. The ships were Lord Hackera (s Liberty Assault Carrier with Liberty Navy Papers) which turned out to be a Jump Ship, GMG|GTS Hakata Maru (a Barge with GMG Papers), Destiny Dragon (a Trade Ship with GMG Papers) and John Carter Serpico (a Trade Ship with Ageira Papers). The last two appeared to be the unloaders for the Barge.
We have noticed, recently, that GMG had already ‘jumped in’ to New London on three previous occasions, one of them being earlier in the evening. On these occasions we have not been able to sight them as they have jumped back home before we could intercept. Having checked the Data Base we had seen that their Jump Licence had expired, so we decided to find them and inquire to why they were breaking Bretonian Law.
They were located at D/E 4, in the lower half of the sector, about 40k below the plane. Dragon and Serpico were already in the process of unloading the Barge (this was how Tator had found the Jump Ship and Barge by back tracking the Traders when they arrived at Southampton).
There was also in the proximity an Order|CV Xana (a Gunboat with Order papers). This GB didn’t appear to be part of this group but merely there observing the operation.
Over the next few minutes Tator and I tried telling them that their Licence had expired and that they were contravening Bretonian Law by being there. They were insistent that their Licence was up to date. The Captain of the Lord Hackera seemed very insistent that we, the BPA, should have contacted them and told them that it had expired. I informed him that it wasn’t for us to ‘chase’ them but for them to make sure their paperwork was up to date.
The Captain of the Hakata Maru came across as very arrogant. He kept telling his unloaders to carry on with their unloading of his ship even when we told them to cease operations. In the end I told them if they carried on then I would destroy them.

We then opened fire on the Barge. Lord Hackera and the two Trade Ships also then opened fire on us. Their combined fire was very ineffective as neither us suffered any damage. After a while the two Trade Ships left the area and a while later Lord Hackera also ran away. At 0113 the Hakata Maru was destroyed. The cargo was then also destroyed.
The Lord Hackera fled to Dublin and then into Edinburgh and this was the last recorded location of the ship. Shortly after this incident a GMG Papered VHF Akira Nagashi appeared at Southampton and asked if we could give him any information on what had transpired. I briefed him and told him that his Jump Ship was now in Edinburgh. I advised him that this was not a good state of affairs as the Gallics would hunt the Lord Hackera down if they found him in their space.

Tator and I are hope that you aren’t too harsh on your Captains, sometimes arrogance and stupidity go hand in hand. This is a lesson that many find hard to learn.
The reason for this communication is that there is the small matter of the outstanding Fines.
Due to the precedence set by Commissioner Markus Wright on a previous violation of the Jump Laws and I quote:
Quote:has been spotted jumping into Bretonian space on two occasions without a license. As such you have an outstanding fine of 30,000,000 credits (2 counts of illegal jump trading, 2 counts of illegally bringing a non-Bretonian Captial ship into Bretonia).

In the case of your Employees this was 3 previous Jumps that we recorded and the one that we caught the offenders on (this was the second that evening). This makes the outstanding fine 60 million credits.
I would also like to point out another fact which is part of the agreement of the Jump Licence:
Quote:The jumpship itself must move within 10K of its intended jump destination after exiting hyperspace and not move away unless escorted by official Bretonian authorities of sufficient rank (Constable, Lieutenant or higher).
No other capital ships are to be jumped in.
Registered transports and Barges jumped in may travel freely within Bretonian law. No other transports will be part of the jumpgroup.
Please note the first and last sentences. When found your Jump Ship was half way between Kensington and Southampton and also 40k below the plane. This is slightly more distant than 10k from the agreed site of Southampton Shipyard or Battleship Suffolk. The only ships moving at the time of being found were Destiny Dragon and John Carter Serpico. This is in direct violation of the Licence.
The ships that jumped in with the Lord Hackera and GMG|GTS Hakata Maru (Destiny Dragon and John Carter Serpico) were not part of the agreement of what ships are allowed to jump. This is also in direct violation of the Licence.
We are happy to waver the fines for these minor infringements, but, please make sure if/when you renew your Licence that your Captains comply to these in the future.
The Captain of the Lord Hackera is also fined 30 million credits for firing on BPA Officers and the Captain of the GMG|GTS Hakata Maru is also fined 30 million credits for giving the order. It seems that the Captain of the Hakata Maru was in overall command.
This makes a Total Fine of 120 million credits to be paid to:
BPA)Anvil or BPA)Schiehallion[CCD]
Proof of payment, as usual, is required.
As these Ship Captains were working for your Organisation, I would assume that your Organisation will be covering the total amount. If not, we would grateful if you would forward these Fines on to them.
I will, of course, require any and all evidence that you can put forth to actually confirm your report and accusations. I will not be able to take any actions on behalf of the Guild until then.

As for the Hakata-Maru defending itself when threatened by destruction, all GMG captains are instructed to do so even when they're threatened with destruction by lawful vessels, no matter the reason. An observance we've learnt the hard way, a lesson learnt from the Eighty.
The alleged violation can't possibly carry a fine as well, as the sentence were to be carried out by the use of lethal force, declared as such by yourself:
