Not too fond of his own kind, the early twentysomething enjoys observing the sparks fly between the frequent BAF, Corsairs, Rheinlanders and IMG in the area, sometimes offering his help for either side for profit and is also known to sometimes get too greedy, while scanning someone's cargo hold.

((Also, no, it does not mean what you think. It means ''Wrecked Upright'' for those of you with dirty minds. Although it is still a play on words...))

Matthew is the second oldest son of Marry Allerton, his other three brothers having parted ways. The Allerton family itself is infamous of being rather large and sharing their brood over a multitude of houses and factions. A very pro-Liberty junker, he often is found in many of the scrap fields on his old recylcer, has never been seen doing illegal activities within the house, but is known for information trafficing and his utter distaste for the Junkers Congress. Matthew Allerton, age 25 is not to be mistaken by his relative Matthew Allerton, age 50, a part of the Xeno movement, who was captured and shot dead two years ago.

Born on Gran Canaria, Vlad is rumored to be the bastard child of some SCRA related transport's crewman. Having reached the age of 17, Vlad hijacked an unattended freighter and set off to explore Sirius on his own. After being captured by the Rogues, he soon enough became part of their group. Now at the age of 35, Vlad has seen plenty of action and, after a particularily nasty experience with a LSF operative, earned the nickname Armless. Rather proud of his SCRA roots, Vlad tends to talk in very forced, fake russian accent, which is quickly forgotten as he starts swearing whenever he is under fire. Cocky, easy to anger and not too good at flying, Vlad is another fine addition to the Rogues.

Cocky, self-righteous and quick to quote every law in Liberty, Tom remains one of the more questionable additions to the Secondary Fleet. His almost uncanny dislike for everything related to unlawful activity makes him seem almost like a paladin, set out to put everything in its rightful place, and yet at the same time Tom retains an almost equally uncanny dislike for any non-libertonian. Viewing Outcasts, Junkers and even allied Bretonians as something sub-human, he is quick to use snarky comments. Gloating for every disabled ship in battle, but cursing his own craft whenever things do not go his way, Tom hungers for rank and respect and will go through any lengths to attain it.

I have never displayed the names of my ingame characters on the forums, not to mention, I try my best not to reveal who I am ingame, unless it is needed. This has allowed me to play a wide variety of characters, true, so I could have popped up anywhere on the map, but this is also a reason why I utterly hate these sort of posts, because there is no way you can know it is me, unless I am using lines I tend to use, or if I outright tell you it is me.

There ARE people around, who when accused of something and then asked if  the character in question is Spazzy, they will just say that they are. You know, I usually do not give a rats ass about such things, which is why I can enjoy a pretty damn multi-sided experience here on Disco, not worrying too much about how playing with people like this and that might make me look. Heck, I was in the 2te, I was in the DPC, I was in the ZA, but at the same time, I have been in pretty much every faction there is, apart from a few such as the Phantoms, Wilde/Ao and the now dead ones. I have accumulated a pretty damn wide spectrum of Discovery experience over the years.

But again, I simply am the kind of person, who will say they do not care about what is said about them, but I will call BS on accusations in relation of my ingame performance or RP quality.


So here's the thread, you have probably wanted to see. Post the character name, screens or logs and point that finger at me. And I will tell you whether or not it is me.

What stops me from going ''nop not me'' on this? Because there are people in the admin team, who will gladly point out if I do 8| Which I am glad for in this case.

If I'm not mistaken (which I may be) you forgot to put the Lane Hacker Norman Bates in the list?

For 3 of These names I knew it was you, for one more I suspeced it. One I "guessed" it was you just by looking at the name: LNS-You.What.Mate?

Other than those names I recognized as you, I dont remember ever seeing them on the server.

The way I recognize you is these things:

Your names are most of the time not really Freelancer / Discovery / Sirius RP names, but troll-RP names, like lol.Im.so.funny.

Most of your actions revolve around making lawful independent characters who you know won't or can't defend themselves on forum look bad. You often try to mask this by pretending you are trying to help the "community" in some way, and by documenting only what you want people to see and leaving our or denying the rest.

You pose as a noob who isnt aware of RP or rules or PvP skills, and then you use borderline rule violations, bad RP, and PvP exploits to try to put people in a bad situation.

Generally you seem to think you are much smarter and less transparent than you really are.

I think you're one of the main people who make this community so terrible (although there are many more, of course).

Also, what the other people you quoted said.

Sorry, never had a lane hacker ever since 84. I never really liked their ships, after they gave the slipstream to the Phantoms.

Guilty as charged, but then again, it was something I was taught while in LR, and something that has stuck to with me ever since. Then again, I do rename my ships a lot, especially my unlawfuls, so sometimes I catch myself from renaming to something ''too'' bad. Like with the heavy cream thing, tho I did get a lot of angryface PMs because of that one. As for the more "ugly" ones, those are pirates, named after newbie names.

You are obviously referring to that one video about me running around with a Rogue IFFed rhino. Yeah, that was a fun little, if rather retarded video, but it wasn't really meant to be taken too seriously, and those who actually did have themselves to blame.

I pose as a noob on my pirates, name-wise. That is true and it is a valid tactic. Bad RP? Tell me where (This was sort of the purpose of this thread. If you want to tell me I have bad RP, please tell me which character and where. Provide screens or chat logs. I am tired of the same bull accusations, so either you have proof or they are invalid.) Pvp exploits? Enlighten me and give me the names of the characters I have used them on. Perhaps give me some SSs.

Well, obviously. Why the hell should I be on the internet and think I am a lesser being compared to the others? I have all right to consider myself better at some things than others. Whether or not it is the truth, however, is a completely different discussion.

Hmm. Seems to me like more of a defense thread than a feedback thread. Which I can't say I mind. However, in terms of feedback..

I don't think I have ever met any of those characters in game, but you seem to know what you're doing here, and I've watched some of your videos.

I can't really judge too much with this info so I'm just gonna say you seem decent. Middle ground, no ranting of accusations involved. Enjoy that!

Honored to be included Spazzy. I got turned off to your style of play, the first week I was on the Disco Forums. I clicked on a video of a yours where a few mining ships were out in Tau 23 right before a server restart, and you and some other person had a large cloud of "Ore" floating about, and you wanted people to get there fast and take it before the server restart. In this video you went off on how much you Hated the TAZ, and they all sucked and bla bla bla. I only had a few maybe weeks in the game, did not even know who or what the TAZ were, but, I decided that I already like them more, that I did you. It was not the tone of your voice that annoyed me, it was the content of your words. Like in other disco videos of yours, where you can be seen calling people "Faggoats", or blaming things on the "Jews" or rules lawyering and telling a trader the scrap he has, comes from the junkers (maybe he mined it) so you and your buddies can lolkill him in your indy tagged Xeno ships. I am sure that that trader stuck around long enough to get out of the dromedary he was in. Or, you jumping with a group of ships and then destroying the ships jump fuel for the the return back, leaving them stranded....classy game play Bro.
Then there was an encounter a character of mine had with some Hogosha character you had. I put a bounty on that ship, and in another thread were there was a discussion going on, you said something to the effect of ..."Yea, I was gonna have a Skype buddy of mine collect it." That being a reason I don´t bother to post Bounties on people anymore, cause of disturbers of the feces like you.
I do not recall having ever seen anything written by you other than a faction write up for one of the "Troll" patrols you have have been involved with.

We play just play the game differently, and I have no issues with that. You wanted feedback, there it is.

Find the link to that zoner T23 video on the forums and look at the replies from the people involved in the process, we were all laughing our asses off by the end of the thing.

Thanks for the feedback, and yes, I suppose I play the game differently, because I can accept that this is in fact a game and RP is something I can appreciate only on the forums or chat....sort of. FL is still not a true hardcore RP server in my eyes. Tho it does not mean I do not like to give good RP and get kudos for it 8|

Now....see, here is the thing Spazzy....you also DO add allot to the community. I have seen you have some really good suggestions on the forums, and I have see you make some valid points on the over all game play. I have seen you fess up and bow out of things that were very harming to the overall gameplay, and that is respectable. I have even pmed you with asking for feedback on an Idea I had, cause I knew you would know and I respect that part of how you play the game. So, I do not have an overall BAD impression of you as a Forumlancer and DiscoPilot, in fact, most of what I think i would say is possitive....except the above mentioned stuff....Cheers.

You really need someone to explain to you why having a navy carrier called LNS-You.What.Mate? is bad RP?

Or why "siding" with assorted lawful indy snubs in a fight ("siding" meaning you fire flak randomly, hitting lawfuls as much as unlawfuls, but not giving nanobots or doing anything useful to really help lawfuls) just to give the present unlawfuls+nomads a pretext to "fairly" utterly gank the crap out of evey lawful snub they see is kind of a bit pvp-dickmove?
