Trader's Guild and Rhienland Military Engage Mon'star and Lane Hacker Ally in Major Confrontation!
--Trader's Guild armed forces and brave Rheinland Military pilot battle the Necrosis and Lane Hacker gunboat in New Berlin--
Tonight's top story begins in New York. The Trader's Guild [tg]Dealer.1 stationed nearby West Point Academy is in the middle of a business transaction when it is attacked by a Lane Hacker gunboat piloted by Edward Morris! The Dealer prisoner liner depletes its store of shield batteries before being able to limp its way back to dock just before imminent hull breach. Sending out a distress signal, the Dealer managed to contact Trader's Guild Collector Agent Mr.Red, who quickly dispatched forces to the aid of the Dealer and its valuable cargo.
Mr.Red was rapidly joined by Trader's Guild Defense Wing pilots [tg]Challenger(dw) and [tg]Fredriko(dw), who proceeded to chase after Edward Morris in hot pursuit. After a lengthy chase and a few moments of intense combat between the two parties, one of which resulted in the destruction of Fredriko's ship, Liberty Navy forces finally arrived to assist. The Lane Hacker was chased over near all of Liberty space until he manged to escape into Bering, ending the chase for Liberty officers.
Trader's Guild forces continued to pursue into Bering, in the process calling in more support from Collector Agent Mr.Blue as well as two more defense pilots; [tg]Merciless(dw) and [tg]Defender(dw) in an attempt to corner the fleeing Lane Hacker.
Believing they had Edward Morris trapped once he fled by jump hole to New Berlin, Trader's Guild pilots entered the system at top speed, falling into a clever trap planned by their enemy all along! Exiting the trade lanes hot on the Lane Hacker's tail they came face to face with none other than Mon'star the Red! A heated battle between the Trader's Guild against the two terrorist allies ensued with the TG, flying fighters and bombers seeming greatly outmatched!
Collector Agent Mr.Blue was the first to be targeted by the deadly accuracy of Mon'star's guns and sadly becomes the first to fall. Seeing that the battle was not going well, TG enlisted the aid of nearby Rheinland Military forces for support. [RM]Richards.Haas in a bomber arrived on the scene in a brave but seemingly vain attempt to join the battle against Mon'star and Edward Morris.
Against all odds the tables turn in favour of TG and the Rheinland pilot. Causing critical damage to the Lane Hackers hull the lawful forces manage to take his ship down. Special commendation goes to ace defense pilot [tg]Merciless(dw), who scored the killing shot on Edward Norris' gunboat. However the ships destruction came at a high cost as Merciless was caught in the debris from the explosion and forced to jettison his escape pod into space.
All remaining TG ships and the Rheinland pilot could now turn and redirect their firepower on Monstarr. With only one target in their sights it was only a matter of time before his feared destroyer Necrosis was severely crippled, forcing it to limp away from the battle and leaving the Trader's Guild victorious!

Despite questioning after the incident, neither Rheinland nor Liberty officials would comment on the massive display of force by the mysterious Trader's Guild. While the Zoner corporation is known to have dealings with multiple companies and even government contracts in both Liberty and Rheinland, it is unknown where it came to possess such numbers of well armed and piloted combat ships. As well, the nature of the mysterious "Collector Agents" dispatched by the Trader's Guild, and their role in the conflict, is difficult to explain. No Trader's Guild officials were available for comment at the time of this report.
