522nd Discussion - A more controlled one...

Anywho, I believe this topic has had its cooling off period.

I must attest that I did not have proper time to reply to the other thread on this however I was at Camp, I am HOPEFULLY Making this to solve even atleast ONE of the problems the community has vs the 522nd - And work things out.

I ask you kindly to please refrain from making any comments unless necessary that would feel degrading or insulting. And please keeps flames and etc to a minimum. And worship the almighty bunny.

My Laundry list of Problems so far.
People are mad about us attacking the Pendragon.
The whole RM Attacking us incident...
Grouping with a Keeper.
The Glaive went to Alpha... And took a tour to Sirius.
Someone docked on New London
Someone said they would aid from Kusari incursions in Bretonia?

Please feel free to also send me other problems that have been made or make revisions to the list.

Now lets try to discuss this. In order to try to keep the discussion under control I will pick two subjects til the discussion is over and then we will pick more.

Firstly; Grouping with a Keeper - I am under the impression that at least 2 possibly 3 of our members had been curious as to how to really join the Keepers, as even with the highly-informative post in Faction Feedback there are still many questions or things to be made clear. I also understand that the Keeper in question was said to be Boss's and even though He as a member of the 522nd being in his Keeper character seemed a bit in the Outer-Limits. However I wouldn't exactly say that going hostile just because of this would be all to great on someones part as I can relate to nearly thousands of others who have done the same yet have never got hostile EVEN though this incident was a bit more 'extreme' then the others.

Secondly; The Glaives tour. She isn't on Skype and seems only intent on changing the subject but... I was wondering if anyone could shed some more Light on this - Possibly bring their Paladin from WoW and Divine Shield this thread too. Please give me a bit more information on that...

Erm, just making a statement: Boss isn't in Keepers nor he ever was. Secondly I asked the particular Keeper player in question and I've been informed that 522nd character attempted to communicate with said character on a some roleplay matter but nothing happened out of it. As far as I know nothing else beyond that took place. Apparently misinformation took place and somebody started spreading false rumors around. I would like to know who was responsible for that.

I'm interested in doing something with the 522nd in the future, perhaps adopting them into bretonia somehow.

Well, the Glaive/Luna/Zori is one of mis amigos but I haven't really seen you guys in-game... Ever. So I can't really say anything problem-wise.

Any of our interaction with the 522 was all RP'd. The points I raised were simply that there was a profound lack of consistency with some of you saying one thing while others were saying something else. Had some interesting ideas of where to go with it.

A small detail: a faction created of capital class Liberty ships wandering around other Houses ought to show a little restraint when it comes to correcting other peoples' (as they perceive it) OORP behaviour.

The nature of the faction would mean that you will come under a great deal of scrutiny so expect to be held to high standards.

Let me illustrate how I figure the way the 522 was acting:

You go to a store to buy a shirt that fits you.

You find one nice looking, a small size, you try to put it on, you tear it. You then leave it there without trying to fix the mess.

Then you see a medium one, it fits pretty well, not too tight, not too slack, but you dislike a bit the look of it. so you leave it there, in the middle of nowhere, not even putting it back on shelves.

After, you try the large one, Really nice looking, but too big,so you do as before.

then you leave the shop sad(or piss off) because you didn't get what you precisely wanted. However, the second shirt was perfect and you would have got suited to it.

And I don't have to retell everything walker, I think you do remember what I told you before about the group. we seemed to share a common vision on a few things.

The only issue that I recall was DW being attacked by multiple 522 units aiding the Harvesters in Omega-15.
Then 522 turns around and lands at Rostock.
The 522 units involved in the attack was Forward.Unto.Dawn and Celestial.
Forward.Unto.Dawn was the vessel that landed at the Bounty Hunter base.
Seems a little odd to go attack Bounty Hunters and still want to land at their base.

It was you who had first started the fight against us for telling you to take your business elsewhere.

As if a Criminal is in Zone-21 and you chase him, and then the Navy fires on BOTH of you for doing so would you say that the BHG would be against the Navy now?
We had a similar predicament when we first met. And you continued to assume hostilities with us after the first incident.
Meanwhile at the time The Dawn was sadly unaware that DW had been Bounty Hunters at all; From what we had been under the impression of, please forgive me for this but, a faction using the BHG ID as a Do-Anything-Lawful ID and that you where Aliens.

Let us examine this more closely Raekur...
A Harvester is near Bornholm which if you check the RP-hub had been a bit under lockdown - You suddenly came in your Battleship and we immediately hailed you as we do as standard procedure asking you to explain your presence.
You say your here to kill the Harvester and we reply that the Area near Bornholm is restricted(Weve let a few people pass, FYI) And that we WOULD prefer you take your fight somewhere else due to a Cruiser+Battleship firing near it can severely damage the station probably...
We warn you that we will fire if you proceed with this and that you can hunt Harvesters on another time so you then charge in, We Intercept you on the edge of the cloud; Destroy you.
The day after The Dawn docks on Rostock in order to check a piece of equipment unaware as to your Bounty Hunter Alignment, normally I would guess that the Guild would be very cautious about going to war with certain factions especially something that wasted one of their Battleships which I would think the Guild reserves for more higher things. Of course as the 522nd begins to destroy a few MORE Battleships due to you attacking us again, the Guild would go hostile... Or possibly not go into the vendetta you have.
