It is in fact possible tactic. Your anti-base base of course won´t shoot base itself, but it can instakill every ship which will try to dock and especially when it undock because it appears for a moment in stable position and even cloak won´t save it because you undock uncloaked. So if there will be like 5 turrets around the undocking spot, the ship will hardly make it on the way out. Sooner or later, base will die because of lack of supplies.
I keep wondering when the Dev Team will realize that many of what were previously thought of as cool ideas have actually kinda pooched the mod.
Among others;
POBs, Gallia, the asinine 'beta' period pre-launch, cloaks, and allowing proven trolls second chances.
I don't think that day will come any time soon, but I will say that a return to 4.84 systems, with the addition of the new ship models, weapons, and burning of the tech chart would be welcomed by more than just me. Oh, and our server population and RP depth back then was about twice what it is now.

No idea what you mean. If you are talking about bases, blow them all up, none of them are mine. If you are talking about admins, why would it matter to me what happens with or amongst them? I left some time ago. I no longer consider the effort my problem. Hence the whole leaving thing. I did my time dealing with DDOSrs and tool like DPC, go bug someone else about Disco, they can deal with it.
